  1. Agree with Vetseun. Market price rules. Unless of course you are a communist and think prices should be regulated. Some bikes retain their value better than others. Just like cars etc.

Local second hand car values are regulated by book values and not by open market

  2.

I looked around for sometime for an option that would last through vehicle changes as I got tired of towbar fitting options ( I dont tow anything) and bought this one.

Quality is superior than the others I checked out, fits on my diferent cars, folds away into the daily cars boot, and works well at freeways speeds

  3. Only number plate i could see was Big Hog/Hoss * GP. he was one of the Marshals. Some of them even riding 2 abreast and showing us all sorts of hand signals!

    Ha ha ha

Those signals probably looked like someone pointing at you. Its to highlight to the group riders thats theres an obstruction or harzard is the direction where they're pointing - its for your safety and the Harley Chaps

I will bet it was a new riders session and there were one or two that got to close to you. You should contact the HOG chapters - more likely Sandton or Clearwater to inform them and they will have a chat with the marshals.

A lot more proactive then calling other lifestyle folk names.

    Ride safe

Not to sure why there should be special treatment for ladies. The topic should read where have all the real people gone.

I help anybody out and always call out if they are by the side of the road or trail to check if there are okay, male or female.

I had the favour returned a few months back with two ladies stopping with their cars when I was fixing a puncture on the side of the road to see if i needed a lift.

You want to play the game, know the rules, get the kit and learn how to use it.

  5. Durban based restaurant chain. Been to the one in Umhlanga. Pretty good.

Says on the website Smart Casual so maybe whoever spoke to the OP's wife should have adjusted their attitude a little and pointed out nicely that it is was a smart casual dress code rule for the restaurants partons. Dumb schmuck for alientating the chain of restaurants against cyclists.

Tone leads to most problems. ???????? 1 x attitude adjustment
