  1. Who you using in the US Spidey?
  2. It seemed to all fall apart from a grammatical perspective there at the end.
  3. I might be wrong, but I don't think this is correct. Cyclists are not allowed on freeways, be they national roads or not. E.g. the M1 is not a national road, but you can't go cycling along it.
  4. Payment System is working
  5. The payment system is up and running. I've paid
  6. Same here. Can edit and update all the info and shirt sizes, but can't pay!
  7. Exactly, and a long sleeve t-shirt at the finish, some free photos and the best catering at any MTB event IMO. You definitely get your money's worth. Having said that, I do think that they charge more than they need to to cover the costs, but they have taken a decision to give something back to the communities and to invest in the future of the race by building awesome trails and bridges and...
  8. Damn - I see a couple different people got accepted. We'd better get in, otherwise there's going to be hell to pay.
  9. Same here! We both rode this year and now we get wait listed. Better be an error. Anybody get an acceptance?
  10. Same here
  11. It starts at the Engen garage on Main Rd Bryanston, near where Main and William Nicol intersect, on Tuesdays to Fridays at 4h55. Different routes of +-42km with Fridays an easier +-38km. There are many riders in season and different paces. As it warms up you will find people riding around 25km/h, although most ride 28km/h+. Cyclelab provides a support vehicle, but all are welcome to participate. Most parts of the route are also popular with other cyclists and so it is pretty safe, although not always from a traffic perspective. Good luck
  12. Got the same fork. Also found the recommended setting to be way too hard and ride it softer than recommended. Fox does feel more comfortable - I have to admit.
  13. Also known as the Engen Classic. Happens 4 days a week and the competition is serious.
  14. Also a Dunkeld group, but I don't have details. Ask Merlin at the shop if it suits you better.
  15. These are SMS's not emails. Also gettin them
  16. It's a scam (IMHO) The sizing is normally all wrong - 54,56,58 MTBs! They only take EFTs, no credit cards, so no recourse from your bank. Don't do it!
  17. +1 Heard it from the farmers horses mouth. Don't know details, but obviously shorter distances.
  18. For Slowbee - straight from the camera - no editing, cropping, stitching or stacking.
  19. Took this one at Sheffield Beach a couple years ago. Borrowed an old Canon 300D.
  20. The mag in question sponsored a Tour de France competition in 2009, in which myself and a colleague won prizes. After a few months of nagging them and a number of emails we received our prizes. Had I not nagged them...?

Tour Durban has a MTB race this year. I don't think putting slicks on is going got help if that's the event in question.
  22. Exactly, the new classifieds can be setup to work and look exactly like the old classifieds if you like, but it is just soooo much better for everything else. Well done!!
  23. Or, I have one of those Geoff racks that fits into a plate that bolts on behind the tow hitch. I could sell it to you for R400 and you can use it with a trailer no problem and just use your Thule when not using a trailer.
  24. Thanks - will have to ask them if they'll be at the expo.
