How Far do you guys go. And est time of arriving back at Pro Cycles?

Had a ran(Cycled) in to a Rinkhals two days ago. Scary as hell when it stands up gets spit ready. I also find energy like there is no tomorrow. 3rd time now it has happened. This one being the biggest. Don't go anywhere with out your phone. At least you can get hold of someone. If your phone is to fancy get a a cheapy and always make sure it is charged and has a working sim.

I don't like Crankbrothers seat posts at all. To much issues. I'll take the rest as it is.

I'm on a 29er with the 2x10 (39T and 26T in front, with 36-11) gearing and found my climbing had improved dramatically. I might we working a little harder but I get up there faster. Never use to pass anyone uphill now it seems to be a common thing. I haven't had a complete blow out yet but have been finishing races finished if you know what I mean. I don't call it granny gear anymore it is now OUPA gear. The only issue i've been having with the 2x10 is chain slack. Going down hills big ring front small at the back. my chain sometimes comes off the big ring or is slapping my ankle in the process. Anyone else noticed this with the 2x10

Hi Vinny I had no technicals so that was good. Had a guy with a Gopro behind me and caught me sliding around a corner luckly not a fall. I saved it. I thought I got lapped but it was the pro's or the under 23's so i was taking it easy after the 3rd lap thinking I'm wasting my time. But I ended up coming 2nd. sounds cool but would have been beter if there was 100s of people right. ;-) Anyway for not I know the guys that perform is far out my league I'm just enjoying the more technical rides as well. Will let you know if i get any video. Hefty

Hi guys Had an awesome day out on the track at XC Groenkloof. I'm looking for some video that some guy was doing. He was riding in the Sub Vet group. Of if anyone else has some. Would love to get some of one lap. You know to show the people at home where I like to go ride. They think we go on a dirt road and wonder why we are so slow. Anyway. Thx

Ha ha thx man. I just felt so dam good. Not sure why. The name Hefty does not come from what I weigh but from the little blue smurf with the heart tattoo on his biceps. If I could peddle with my arms i could probably go faster :-)

I must say I had an amazing time. First time doing it. Don't know why they guys are refering to 85km it was advertised as 80km. The climb was a bit of mission but got up it with minimal walking which i was happy about. I really don't like walking. And maybe i was one of the lucky ones but I got to ride it all the way down with out having to get off. And yeah Warmbaths School with the Coke and Worsies was the winner on the water tables. From there I had a wonderful fast rest of the race and last hills was tuff but got to ride it all (portage what are the guys talking about) That is it. Untill next year then.

I'll be at the Magalies 75km. they only posting the new profile on Tuesday apparently. Might be good news might be bad. Also did the Lionman. Had a awesome race. And yeah it was technical up and down. But I had loads of fun on the down. Lets get ready

I don't trust these things they post anymore. This route if check as it is laid out is only 30miles which relates to just under 50km. somthing hectic wrong with the profile or half of it is missing. This is something that is starting to annoy me alot.

Go check the website they have the profiles on there. But as per one of my other Posts. Don't ever believe what you see cause i have never actually ridden a race that the profile or the distance they mentioned was the right ones. Good luck and have fun.

HI there Yeah the Japenese Garden is alot better for everyone to ride now. Alot more soft spots to pick your landing. Took my girlfriend through there. She could ride it all and had some fun with the ups and downs. Got the adrenilin going. However on the other side where the bridges are it was very slippery and alot was not save for riding. But that will be better dry Had a bit of problems with marking. Not always sure where to turn next and ended up doing the same part a couple of times. Wow alot has been thrown around here. Hope it helps. Put a spanner in the works WTB Wolverine at the back for a while now did Sabie experience with it and loving it.
