If you think you may not make it do only the smaller 'last' loop (you turn right at the top of the first hill, instead of left ,12 or so kms instead of 58). I know that the younger guys have a role to play and serve the big guns. But van Garderen started yesterday in 10th position about 5.30 min behind Wiggins. He is now in 9th more than 6 min behind ,after slowing down for Cadel. Should TJ not have gone on his own after Evans slowed? He looked strong. Maybe 4 th ahead of van den Broek and more options for BMC ,with their star not performing.

I have sympathy with people who tow things to earn a living. But as far as towing children are concerned ,I think it's dangerous. Saw a mom and dad in a busy street in Alberton, Two bikes one trailer. All bright eyed and bushy tailed, doing the multivitamin family advert thing. That trailer is so low on the ground and exposed . One small nudge from a car and you have a tragedy.

In an Afrikaans primary school this would have caused serious confusion.

Now we can also say "remember the one with the wind". Funny thing I really enjoyed stage 2. Friend and I rode in VC with some nice okes from Edenvale and Sunward. Stage 3 there was a guy from VA black and white kit , really helped us along. And the potjie afterwards. Not many places where you get 4 tots of OBS for R 10!

That is a roadie that starts riding dirt. There are hundreds of new MTBers who have never been on any kind of bike.We are nice . We have no name for the "woer woeries " that we find on tar uphills.

Turns out he played with Tull for a short while. Band members weren't allowed to eat at the same table as Anderson. Sabbath the band were sh*t scared of real satanists.
