Guys, Bought the R3 just over 2 weeks ago and switched out the triple crank for the standard Dura Ace double. Very very happy with it. Fantastic frame and although I miss my Campag groupo, the Dura Ace does the job!

What is so bad about the triple?

Hi all, I need some unbiased advice. I have two options for a new road bike both similar price and components. R3 in slightly better condition. Cervelo Soloist Carbon with FSA Compact Crank OR Cervelo R3 with Dura Ace Triple Crank Any views guys? Many Thanks.

Just got off the phone with my lbs and they have indicated I need to replace the "freebody" on my bike as it is well worn apparently. At a cost of R600. Can anyone enlighten me as to what a freebody is and did I make the right call in replacing it? I just sent my bike in for a tune up for the C De C tomorrow....

Zeee, I'm riding a Giant TCR C1 and absolutely love it. No complaints. Cervelo a great bike but IMO the Giant much better value for money.
