firstly welcome to the great world of cycling ! u might opt for bib shorts after a while as cycling shorts tend to slid down after a while and it becomes an eyesore for those riding behind u and your cheeks will be lekker *** sore after your ride if the chamois moves out of position

i have a grating scapular from the excessive years of playing indoor volleyball got used to the pain and annoyance factor. one thing for sure is to rest , recuperate and rehab sessions also ensure u start a training program to build up that shoulder. Glad the fall wasn't too bad and that ur tall boy wasn't too badly damaged

Speedy recovery mate. its one of the reasons i won't be a roadie damn motorists are inconsiderate and reckless. Roadies must be more vigilant and please stop riding in a bunch of two or three side by side on narrow roads or verges !!
