The lad is an internet sensation appeared on Gareth Cliff's show this morning and was gonna have the clip aired on CNN as well. Thank goodness he is ok and has suffered no permanent side affects. Well done to Scott for identifying an oppoortunity and acting on it.

Hi Guys completed my first Hill to Hill to Hill Must say it was very daunting !! didnt take in enough water and started cramping at about the 23kms mark !! It was damn hot out there as well. Made it too the arc and looked up at the climb at key ridge and asked myself what on earth did i get into ??? Walked up most of the hills from here on as i had no strenght in the legs lack of training and insufficient water in take !! Completed the race none the less at about 5hrs 32mins. Next year will definitely be better prepared !! Ps Thanks once again to the 2 trail runners in the New Balance gear for picking up my phone after it made a remarkable escape from my saddle bag Thanks to all the riders to stopped to ask if i needed assistance as they passed me by. Hats off to some of the 105km riders u guys gave it horns !!!

Good luck to the fellow hubbers doing the 105km and 40kms .... see u guys out there and have a good one

thanks for the response i have accepted that there will be some pushing but will limit that time off the bike to the water points and those monster hills.

Doing my first half marathon looking forward to it. Just want to complete strongly and enjoy the ride hopefully will finish around the 6hr mark maybe quicker. Checked a few sites for the weather all forecast a warm and sunny day about 26 degrees. Any advice for a first timer for the Hill to Hill half marathon ?? See u guys out there !!

Put on an after sales towbar at Towbar SA in Durban costs me R 1500 without electrics and got a two bike carrier Holdfast for R 999 no regrets !!

After a long 2-3 hr hard ride lifting ur bike above your head to secure it will be a problem !! I personally prefer the the towbar !

MTB to Roadie .....unimaginable its like going over to the dark side !!

Thanks for the correction gents regarding the polycarbonate materail used for the maunfacture of lenses.

Oakley Radars with interchangable lenses lenses dont mist up Jawbones nice but didnt like the look of them on preferred the Radars. Wont wear anything else but Oakley lenses dont shatter they designed that why. Oakley Africa have a display cabinent in the showroom and displays how if the lenses are shot at close range with a rifle they take the force and pop out the casing of the glasses and dont shatter upon impact. Thats what u want frm your sunglasses.
