  1. Explains a lot. Sad thing is the f'krs probably going to get R50-R400 (at most) for your stuff. If they worked half a day they would earn much more than they could ever steal on a day, with lot less effort and drama... but the f'krs are so stupid, lazy and skelm that they probably dont even realize it.
  2. Hug! Flip, and the bulls haven't even played the stormers yet?
  3. LOL... you could not "bomb" a longdrop, not even if they gave you a big red button/remote, which was linked to a drone, equipped with a WMD and preset/aimed by someone else painting the target with a lazer, and all you had to do was press the button. You'd still miss... Just saying.
  4. Huh? tried a Yeti SB-anything, tried any Tomac's, tried any Turner's? Spaz's? Scott's? ......
  5. LOL @ REBA ... AGAIN!!!!
  6. I suggest take it to your LBS, they should have bearing removal tools.... I know it's a pain, but worth the hassle. Because you need one of these...
  7. I'm sure my wife is at-least twice the price for same value and performance as most ladies, I wasn't very happy with her until I got her broken in, but according to me she is stunning.... i'll stick to her, and my fox factory.... (for now)....
  8. Don't be. I'm 50/50.... Half Irish / Half Afrikaans..... don't hold it against me!
  9. Kashima.... butter.... smooth.... FiT....Factory...
  10. If you mention Yoda he will start Yodeling....
  11. You're a Tjop... that's what happens when you sitting on the hub with KykNET on the teevee? You get distracted and call people Robot's.
  12. lol... I just never saw any rider, be it mtb or road and thought to myself... flip... that oke's "a ROBOT".... And my pal Mr. Phil never once commentated during any race shouting "Look at him go, he's a ROBOT".... PS> You can call Lance a ROBOT any day, now that's another story.
  13. Forks... here you go with your REBA REBA REBA stories again... I read your posts and in 99% of them all I read is REBA...or REVELATION... you even called it a REVOLUTION the other day.... you gonna call your kid Reba (gir) or Revel (boy)????
  14. Robot? Really, why do you have to go and call the oke a robot? Cant take you anywhere....
  15. KEEP AT IT!! WELL DONE Plus, remember we are all just human, your name and experience only takes you so far, it's the training that pays off at the end of the day!!!
  16. I sold a Tomac Snyper, mint condition, full XT and only about 6months old - for R15k
  17. I suppose it has to do with what weight you start off at, it has to be relative to your power to weight ratio if you say fitness "remains the same." For example 10kg's over 70kg's = 14% improvement as opposed to 10kg's/110kg's being 9% improvement into power to weight ratio. If we are talking road racing, and you take average speed of 30km/h over 50'kms then your time = 100min if you improve your power to weight by 10% then you will do about 10min quicker (10%) = 90min race time or 33km/h average speed. In my own experience it's not just the 10kg's that has made the big difference because your fitness never remains the same, you hit the apex where you start losing weight by training more and then your fitness increase also reduces your weight, but from experience I would say if you work to drop 10kg's by actually training harder 70% and eating better 30% of the time then you will see a 10-15% increase in speed/race times over a short period. After that period fitness drives your performance and you will settle into your "natural" weight... I cant explain it any better.. sorry.. But the bottom line, if you drop 10kg's you will be MUCH faster dude....
  18. My crank turns... 360 degree's... I tried riding with it horizontal as per your suggestion but then my bike doesn't move... i do a track-stand for a while, waiting for it to move, but eventually i just fall over sideways... Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or lack your skillz
  19. Great, then what you worried about!???
  20. Hey Ben, you might want to speak to Wendell, because when I chatted to him yesterday I got the impression the tough one is going to be the TOUGH route, and you need to bring your SKILLZ....
  21. LOL - I think a couple of people will be a bit confused if they expect the 20km XCO "Fun Ride" and end up entering the Toughee and come home to the finish line having kuked themselves....
  22. Some pictures, taken yesterday afternoon.
  23. hey BEN- you doing XCO or Tougee then? PS> I didn't mean to say people should only do it when they tough/fit? What I meant was DO IT - but just choose wisely between the XCO and Toughee!!!!!
  24. We will certainly be there!!! As a family we ride the 20km XCO lap at least 2 or 3 times a month, it's really awesome and yes, there a a couple of climbs, you just have to put your head down and pedal, you eventually get to the top of the climb... The "toughee" part is just that... if im not wrong, the most part of it was to be Wendell's "DH" track... and for some time it was even referred to as such... However, it's was expanded and now it's part of wendell's way... It's very technical, in the sense that the uphills are SUPER steep, rocky, loose and some tight turns and switchback... the downhill sections are really awesome, some serious drops and cutting over rock sections... but totally do-able. To be honest I dont know how much of it will be ride-able for your first time, as the course certainly needs a bit of getting used to... But if you consider yourself TOUGH, and consider yourself to have TECH-Skills... then DO IT!!! (PS> I ride the entire course, except for the total last piece of uphill right at the top where you go along right next to the fence... just cant drag myself up there yet, but I figure I will be able to do it once fitness gets better)!!!
