I hear you. At this point you must make the call that shows you how they are doing it - you dont fall on the syringe and then notice you are superman the next day though. It finds you and you make the deal fully knowing what you are doing cause you see the improvement the next day. So you know all along what you are doing. This then gets in to the psychology side of who is liable to cheat and that is a whole other discussion.

Why are we all getting so hit up about this again? I think its because we all hoped it wasn't true. It is. So it means about 80 to 90% of the champions are rotten. Its not like this is different globally and there are 10% that are the problem. We know this as a fact. Its not like we haven't discussed this at length on the hub over the last couple of positives. I want some advice on where to get coffee beans - I like a dark roast - Italian. Like the Illy in the tins but they are expensive. Any sites or shops that can be recommended. What is the optimum quantity to buy beans, or put another way do they have a best before date ? I am using a bean to cup Delonghi machine.

So i decided i needed a better "aerial" for my radio like this one. I made it out of multiple pieces of copper wire twisted at the joins. It ran out my bedroom window and across the roof. My Nespresso Latissima has breathed its final breath of Espresso before ejecting its final pod. So I am looking to replace it. Budget about R 7k max. Do I buy another one or do you recommend a bean to cup machine that has one button operation. I see there are some that do ground coffee and also pods? Any recommendations from the gurus out there. I like a couple of cappuccinos in the morning and the occasional espresso. Must be operable by wife, (one button) easy to clean and simple to make. Recommendations?

Yeah it was a stunt crew - they arrived with a TV camera to give him the "cup of $h!t" award from some TV channel or some celebrity presenters in Italy. Needless to say he wasn't really that excited to get it and didn't hang around for the ceremony. Wonder why?

Had the same experience at Welvanpas. Nearly rode over 2 x fat puffy's lying on the trail on the descent from the top. I had actually fallen off on a corner about 10 metres before them and once up again i saw them. I was far enough away but by the time i got my phone out for the photo they were gone in to the bush. Beautiful animals......

I saw this and was going to say i am not sure about the effort required to weld that. I just had a mate do similar on a Gary Fisher and needless to say it broke again soon thereafter. So be aware that you could be in for a number of attempts to fix it if. Maybe go with a new frame.

You should get a seeding based on the number you have completed if you have not competed in a seeding event prior to it. This is what they did for the 10+ completed competitors in the past. I am in the same boat. It Wasn't too bad - was about 8:15 am and now they have done away with the charity bunches possible even earlier.

I just entered - they are not messing around - R 940-00 for a tandem entry. I Think they are using the fee and process as a filter for all the no shows that they cater for at a huge cost and who never ride.

Hmm - some ways to mess with the system: 1.) I called and they reckon you will get credit for Arguses completed, so that made me feel better. 2.) What to do with the wife who has done 4 to my 15? Put her on the tandem and enter as a tandem. That works as we do have a tandem and are planning to ride it (again) on a tandem. But if you really wanted to screw with the system enter as a tandem with both of you on the bike and then unlink the entries later. BTW - at least this is a little bit better than the keyboard and mouse lottery it degenerated in to when it crashed all the ISP's hosting it as there were 33900 keyboard jocks all hitting enter and overwhelming the servers, it was pretty random anyway. And for all the crying and gnashing of teeth, there will be entries open closer to the date as the keyboard warriors realise what 113km around the Cape Peninsula looks like and retire hurt with their Klippies and Cola.
