  1. Man, CS's Stumpjumper looks like a go-fast bike. Sweet as. I really hope he wins in what they call his last pro race?
  2. Morning. Been reading this thread with interest from afar. Haven't a clue where any of these places or trails are, so no preconceived or vested opinion. Just an observation with respect to all. Sometimes when we passionate about something, like our bike riding, we can easily forget that other priorities exist. As a landowner, be it the state or private, MTB trails are unlikely to be top of the agenda, ( unless it's a dedicated mtb park for commercial gain) and have to compete with conservation, economic, leisure , sustainability , safety , and other factors. I'll bet a public space entity gets lobbied by numerous bodies. Hikers, walkers , riders, model plane flyers, dogs, tourism, birders et al, so must be hard to juggle it all. Overriding mandate I'm sure isfor the greater good of the land itself??
  3. Ha . Big fanfare for 2 names. Good luck Max, give it horns bru. Nice sounding climb from the start there, just to ease into the race.
  4. Just seen Frans got effective 5 week ban on appeal from Sanzar. First time they've ever in the competition history appealed against the ruling of one of their own judicial officers. He rescinded the red originally , now they've overruled and slapped 5 weeks. Yoh. Can of lizards been opened by this. Are we going to see even application if this across all 3 conferences? Don't think so somehow. Certainly not condoning the tackle however. Just unsure about the process
  5. Yip. Nice to have a good, hard game as a final warmup. Side looks in good shape. Cracker to see Steph du Toit back on the field
  6. Yip, watched that innings in Durban. Class act. Very sad, RIP Phil. Agree with sentiments regarding Sean Abbott. All the very best to him in months to come. Sad time for all involved.
  7. Not sure how to post the video, but check Sheppard's version of Royals ( Lorde) Talented family that.
  8. Sweet as. From the love songs to the poems to the social commentary lyrics, he could do them all. Played the first dance song at my wedding...
  9. Yeah, very good. The original, however, is to my mind the greatest vocal thing ever done. Put on a good set of headphones, and play the original acoustic version, just to yourself. Yoh.
  10. All good.
  11. Definately the 2 best teams in the final this year. Both playing good to watch rugby. Well done. Looking forward to the final, should be a cracker
  12. Halftime. The Lions are fantastic. Seriously good play. Really hope they belt the Bulls next week. Will be well deserved
  13. Scotty, don't sweat bru, Bulls will cruise it. Then get hammered in Durban next week. But you can't win them all.
  14. Just thinking about it. That was such a good game. That AB side not no 1 for nothing. Can seriously play. But they don't got Joel Lambie.......
  15. Shebeeeeeeen. How's that sitter brother!!!!
  16. Another gifted, instinctive player. However, I'm not sure that 10 isn't a much more difficult position just to slot into after a year away, playing a different type of game. I reckon your 10 needs to be playing locally, at minimum Superrugby, and involved from NOW with the setup. injury aside, I'm pretty sure Pollard and Lambie will be the 2 world cup 10s.
  17. No, haven't erased that. Was a sitter, and should have been goaled. I was referring to the inherent class that he has as a rugby player. In my nonguppie view, very few players have the ability to do clever things as naturally as he can. I think Pollard is cut from the same cloth. From a Sharks perspective though, I see Jake White has moved on. Can't say I'm sad.
  18. Got to believe Argentina going to give the ABs later tonight. Imagine next week as a winner take all game.
  19. Yoh Jean, what a legend.
  20. Now isn't Pat Lambie class........
  21. Cracker to see the Sharks playing nicely again. Beautiful second half after getting smashed up front early on. Hopefully will keep building. Nice win for the Lions last night too.
  22. That's a bit dramatic. If the " young talented cyclist" is that good, he's gonna make it anyway, whether dopers are around or not.
  23. Looking forward to the Natural Citrus Carbofuel. I have a question regarding the mixing of the different products. I currently use the Carbofuel for training , as well as racing. Most races are 3 hours or less, but in longer events and stage races, is it a good idea to use the Marathon product just for those events, or should one stick to what you train with? Can or should you mix Carbofuel and Marathon in an event? ( as in one bottle of each)
  24. My face value view. It's like parole .If SAIDS said DG is clear , 2 months early, then he's clear. End of. Sentence served. Each one of us will decide for ourselves how loudly we will cheer him on in his next event though. Me, I'll cheer. Good luck Dave.
  25. All this conjecture regarding the findings , and the possible scenarios leading to the adverse analytical finding are fascinating, but ultimately irrelevant . SAIDS has cleared the decks in this matter. End of. No amount of debate or opinion is going to change that. I'll be cheering for Daryl in his next race.
