  3. still not sure if I can make it. If it's on the 24th then I can't have to help for christmas eve and stuff like that .

  5. Nope, just growing, have stayed exactly the same weight since March but grown 3cm taller.
  6. haha, but i'm under 16 Nah, hadn't raced with them for a few months then used them at die burger and they were waaay too constricting around my upper body, struggled to breathe etc...
  7. Also could be part of it, but for the most part I'm OK. Saddle hasn't been the same since summer.
  8. Last week monday I think. Corner of Buitengracht and hout or something...
  9. I'm 14, 15 in May. Why d'you ask?
  10. Cycle Lab CPT are also doing rides on tue and thur mornings from 6:00, just up to suikerbossie and back. They do have shower facilities at their shop.
  11. I've done plenty of long rides, some without any pain in certain regions. Whenever I do a long one I try to use my one pair of bibs which are really good. Sometimes they're in the wash or lost somewhere and I have to use others which makes me believe that bibs can make a huge difference. Anyhow, I've made up my mind. I've also done one 170km road ride which was in around 6hours for my dads DC training, and I was fine... anywaay
  12. Ok, thats cool.
  13. Yup, no problems for 1-2hr rides, but even when it gets into 3hrs my current bibs are a bit uncomfy. I do have 1 set that are great, not sure what brand, a friend bought them from Italy, but they get used daily and don't dry in time
  14. Hmmm, interestengly enough my club kit is also Rapid Sport, I can't argue that it isn't nice, it's amazing for the short 40-60km races I did this spring. But...Even during my 90km ride today, (while wearing my rapid bibs) my ass was sore .
  15. OR, you could buy a lefty
  16. search for "hitler 29er worldcup" can't remember the exact name but you'll find it with that, same words, different subtitles, funny though
  17. What were your times for the race this year? Edit: just want to know what i'm in for
  18. this is the best route ever
  19. The other bibs were 3 years old. The assos bibs in medium go up to 179cm tall, so they'll last around 4-5years too. I also have to contribute 30% to anything I want to buy thats expensive.
  20. nice might want to try and get that link polished too
  21. Not sure about the difference, but im 173cm tall and using 170mm cranks... Why you thinking of changing?
  22. Looking at getting a pair of new bib shorts because I just outgrew a pair of mine. I have two options. Assos F1 Uno for R1800+- Craft Elite Attack for R1999. Haven't ridden either brand before so any help would be much appreciated. I know the assos mille is great, but please, only reviews/comments on the uno and elite attack. Cheers
  23. I think coming from steenberg is tougher, shorter but steeper. Always seems so to me. The other side (coming up from Noordhoek) isn't as steep but longer, better for training on
  24. and +1 for molteno road, the only way up is to go fast, otherwise you fall off
  25. I just did a ride with as much climbing as I could find while still staying on "safer" roads. Started at Lions head parking lot, up to signal hill, down the glen, up the glen, down kloof nek (camps bay side) onto suikerbossie and chappies, up Ou Kaapse then back down and all the way back except for the glen because i wasn't feeling too great, just rolled down through greenpoint and up through Bree Street. Was 92km with 1450m ascent Nice ride.
