  1. All good and well, i know people with cranks that broke and they had to buy new. Fortunately they still have the broken unit, and I’d expect they will be given a replacement. Does not help if your crankset shows signs of imminent failure and they don’t have stock to replace as mentioned on another thread
  2. This will show exactly how efficient they are as the official and sole distributor, I’m not holding my breath as the general consensus is that they are “not the best “, stock issues aside…
  3. Eish , there are a few Ultegra cranks also advertised at present
  4. while on this topic, can anyone recommend a product similar to the Assos Skin Repair gel by chance? This stuff is really brilliant, but oh so pricey at close to R500 a tube! https://www.cyclelab.com/product/4011673-suncare-assos-skin-repair-gel-75ml
  5. definitely a different experience indeed, I would have asked the store to perhaps facilitate the process, particularly since you bought it from them and quite "recently" at that as well..
  6. might be great, I went a few years ago at the Castle https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid08eceZiwWKyKpJhCMBTMuEJvFbzA2qBLWoQE8uobq5hwoETbCX8mpwgEpVKerTvM4l&id=100083823921028&sfnsn=scwspwa&mibextid=6aamW6
  7. I am not entering any gravel event in advance going forward...
  8. Have to second Kom here my go-to mechanic
  9. Yeah , the R400 did sound steep, Wondering about this one for next year, sounds like quite a small event and maybe they need to find their feet..
  10. I was intent on doing the shorter version, but the additional R400 for the vehicle transfer was off-putting for me.
  11. I’ve found the biogen gels to be nice and thin
  12. The vehicle transfer cost of R400 for the 100km route was a bit of a downer or is that the going rate?
  13. I have shipped to Hong Kong address very recently with AGS,
  14. Also had one of those, only challenge is you’re locked to a wheel set, but gave great service
  15. I know that you can add a family member for free if on an annual plan with Fulgaz, might be worth a look.
  16. The post race interviews were cringeworthy, they were definitely exposed as to the move. Some dodging and weaving of questions.
  17. perhaps a bit of poor form from Sepp's team mates though. Sean Kelly and co share my sentiment
  18. what a finish, what drama, you cannot make this stuff up, Great entertainment
  19. not a great lead time, so if you had a failure on your shoe rendering it useless, you'd be without a shoe for up to 2 months! (assuming no back shoe that is) I recall reading there is no option to specify delivery service? This is where AGS would work out though
  20. Accuracy of calories consumed though? Something that always bothers me
