  1. 88kg at 1.88? That sounds very thin or perhaps a purely cycling related weight vs height calc? Need to understand his frame and current body fat / body composition etc. and also what is sustainable. I’m 1.87 and at 95kg wouldn’t classify myself as overweight- all relative i guess. would definitely be faster going uphill but not for me.. Agree on dietician and coach
  2. If you still have kickr, having PM when outside will complete the picture for you ( in terms of both your outdoor and indoor rides)and can also help you gauge efforts on long climbs etc. Look at a crank arm option, the pedals are pricey and in my mind risky on a MTB. All the best with your journey and well done on the progress thus far!
  3. Any reason in particular you use Singapore? Hong Kong not quicker?
  4. Shoo, the Remco haters are like All Black supporters today 👀
  5. Flip, that sounds like a terrible experience, they are on here so keen to hear what they say. The outlay on these units is not small either.
  6. This jumbo team dominance is really something else. Kuss even looked fresh at the end.
  7. Sorry to hear man You say it was locked, I assume you’re referring to those knobs? How were the bikes removed? Arms cut?
  8. Great ride, super responsive, whilst being very comfortable as well. I have found the 40t to be suitable as an option on the road as well.
  9. Shared previously on another thread, my conversion, not the must cost effective, but a fun process!
  10. bar change will cost more money - as will need to change brakes and gears, will need to consider derailleur config etc etc. I did a full conversion and very happy with mine.
  11. I had to probe numerous times to get feedback on progress to be honest, but once the ball was rolling, things moved quickly.
  12. Yeah, they were well looked after, so did not see the benefit of losing out on them
  13. thought I would share my experience with Assos. Had two pairs of Equipe shorts where the padding was starting to fray / tear. I took a chance and contacted them, they asked for some pics of both the padding and lycra to establish general condition of the shorts (which is good). Long story short - I sent the items to them (at my cost) and they were repaired and couriered back to me (DHL express) at their expense at a cost of $80 for the two. They were sent by a friend in the UK (cost to ship from SA to Switzerland is crazy) on the 22nd July and I received them today! All in all a great outcome, considering that I bought them in 2016.
  14. Sounds like I maybe dodged a bullet by not riding, spoke to some people who noted that today was a day for a MTB as well Hopefully next year these events won’t be muddy 🤞
  15. I recall another hubber sharing an encounter with a blue golf somewhere in Southfield a while ago
  16. And technical advances in the carbon lay up as well
  17. I seem to know how to pick them! purposely entered late watching the weather and now this
