  1. In search of fitness that I seem to have lost 😞
  2. This sounds right up the ombudsman alley
  3. indeed the initial cleaning step is probably the most critical step and more costly due to required solvents and potentially an ultrasonic cleaner as well, thereafter its a breeze.
  4. i have a cheaper version which I see is no longer available, nut works the same. this is it
  5. I think Shawn also recommended putting chain in pot with wax still solid and remove once melted.

  11. Sounds like cleat alignment , take care as this could result in ITB friction syndrome , which I suffered due to a broken cleat. is the pain on the outside of the knee?
  12. This morning while descending from Smitswinkel, we encountered an idiot who having seen us approaching at speed, decided it was appropriate to make U turn right across us our path, forcing us to come to a complete stop to avoid colliding with him. The imbecile thought nothing of his actions and I wonder if he would have done the same thing had it been a car.
  13. And yet you still see “law enforcement “ out there handing out “petty fines” how about some visibility and patrols and roadblocks and on the spot breathalysers . Not rocket science to figure out where the hit spots are.

  15. What a bloody joke, sickening to the core! 😡
  16. Bunch of cowards who at the end of the day do not do enough to ensure our city is a safe one for all
  17. Reckon it’s a factor of people having poor flexibility and a weak core ,and perhaps the silly trend of slammed stems but the drops are actually quite comfortable but it takes practice to get your body accustomed to the position
  18. https://pedalpower.org.za/seeding/
  19. but glad that you're open to drilling out a bolt for "walk in client" when time allows from time to time! Forever appreciative

  21. Anyone have experience with handlebar tape from Temu, saw some “Supacuz” stuff that I might try out.
  22. wow, yet they happily set traps on the Suikerbossie descent, perhaps nab people after the tolls!
  23. Exactly - I find it startling that despite the size of the problem - the evidence is clearly there that not enough is actually done to address it. one would expect the roads to be teaming with traffic officials.
  24. Indeed , and every festive season there’s shock around the road death toll. There should be random breathalyser tests or something, roadblocks which are few and far between these days are clearly ineffective.
