  1. I was checking this out the other day - looks like a great option - lots of YT reviews as well. Magicshine EVO https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/magic-shine-evo-front-light/140592041/p?utm_source=google_products&utm_medium=merchant&id_producte=142182252&country=za&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=17004932335&gbraid=0AAAAADqtrtEk5U76QClhjVTnoTFbCa__L&gclid=Cj0KCQjwxJvBBhDuARIsAGUgNfiXbvKJQYr_EmM6V_XnmoJpXL5RiDLUF2CtOVoWg29AodO2eoibzl4aAq3mEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  2. This could have ended badly https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJr4mRMMs9W/?igsh=MTh5bDBjMWZleTNxeA==
  3. That was very rookie like from Wout? what was he thinking?
  4. What does first ownership have to do with it? I also had a bit of run around with Naked a while ago when my bike was stolen, despite me posting all pics of bike on the app I had to prove ownership to the assessor, despite the also being video footage and of the left-what a joke , left a bitter taste in the mouth. Bike was actually recovered with some damage which they then repaired /replaced parts but I’m now weary
  5. They are usually quite quick once you send updated pics normally get a mail day or next day if sent after hours
  6. I see you also have quite a slope on the top tube, whereas mine is flatter
  7. stem length definitely a factor - considering the reach to the hoods, unless you spend most of your time on the bars / or at the bend of the bars.
  8. Great TT from Joshua Tarling showing his pedigree . with Roglic narrowly missing out on the stage win, enough to put him in pink though. I reckon a bit of a disappointing ride from Wout? Pedersen really looking good as well.
  9. I have one , with a nifty Enve lever as well
  10. Mmm WvA pipped again on the line. Perhaps he will improve as the tour unfolds? Could have gone either way though? Mads on top as expected .
  11. Likewise, blocked by the paywall
  12. Apple TV works well. Have used used with Zwift, Training Peaks and Fulgaz. Just make sure your device is as close to your trainer as possible
  13. WTAF! How about they do some bloody investigative work! Utterly pathetic. I would go as far to say the calibre of police station probably correlates to the level of crime in said area.
  14. indeed, that is true - sad - but true
  15. The braziness is what gets me! Utterly despicable and sad that people cannot enjoy the most basic of freedoms - I won't even get to the absence of any law enforcement or the lack of political will to address the decay. My blood boils when I hear of incidents like this.
  16. This will hopefully be a great and entertaining Giro considering how well open it will be! Can’t wait!!
  17. This is what I have , pretty close to what was described, unfortunately cannot recall the brand, but i think I got it at an online shop I did from an international store.
  18. One layer of decent thickness should do, IMO
  19. Try and get the tektro hydro brakes. Not cheap but awesome
  20. A truck passed me way too close on Saturday as well, just before the Fish Hoek circle , coming from Simonstown. I was intent on having a word with the driver but unfortunately did not get the opportunity to do so .
  21. Did the driver stop?
  22. Was the POS caught?
  23. Why are you battling with indoor trainers?
  24. Regular programming continues with Pogacar again coming out on top!
  25. Apparently no need to rinse with boiling water , just a wipe down and back into wax. The boiling water is if you want to “reset” the chain. This is according to Zero Friction anyway . I use the Molten Speed Wax. For the trainer bike, I use also use the Silca Super Secret as it lets messy from a flaking perspective. I’ve managed to get a wipperman link, which can be re-used safely. can’t understand why no one in SA sells them.
