The niner is a bit longer and takes a 15mm axle at R6500 .My rapide is shorter by 1cm and only takes QR and cost R1000 .Niner looks great thou and is wider and should be stronger .If money was not an option i would go for the niner

I found the best cleaner to be WD 40 and it lubes to .Dry excess and apply whatever. I Used purple extreme for a year now and bottle is only half empty

I can fit my 29er XL frame FSB in the back when seats are down . I don,t have to remove anything and can drive at 140km/h at 5am to the race venue Probably the biggest reason why i still use this car .I have been looking at a new car for 2 years and cannot find anything that will replace what i have for under R600

Thanks Alex .It was me that asked for the feedback .You made it and learnt a lot .Good on you to not have given up with a broken chain and still attempted the full distance not knowing what to expect .This was my first event where i bailed because i was worried that i was damaging myself by continuing.This only comes from experience and knowing your body,s limits .Try some easier events ! They are all fun !

Should have known better not to ride this event with bronchitis .My heart rate never came down and I bailed out at the bottom of breeds and took the tar road home .At least this time I got to down a couple with friends before heading home .Better to save the pump for another day
