    I am currently also on 34 X19 .Started on 40 X 15 ?? .I also liked 36 X 18 for the flatter rides

    Thanks for the initiative and work .KK is my backyard and I ride there 3 to 4 x a week .About a year ago I noticed the guards had left ,then I see no more patrols and noticed some vagrants in the bush .It was only a matter of time when the trouble starts again I told myself and I was right .There was even some illegal dumping starting again .I am willing to help in any way to keep this the best outdoor spot in PTA that it is

    This was my first ultra .I have done these distances in stage races before but a random ultra takes a lot out of you .The longest ride I have done in the last year was 4h and yesterday took me just under 6 hours .The last 90 minutes was painful. If you train more than 8h a week I think you will be fine ,but for us that do mostly interval training and max 6hours a week it is doable but not enjoyable

    I am also in the market for a new set .Currently on Avid CR .Anybody know the difference between the XO trail and avid guide brakes

    Noticeably absent at the water points were chain lube .I carried my own and used it twice in the very dry dusty conditions .

    Long day! ,but made it under 6hours in the ultra .Saw a lot of cramping riders along they way .my only serious cramp was on top of the bridge at the finish ,i managed to hide it from the fans and finish like a man .Several of us measured temperatures at 39 and 40 degrees celsius .Water tables were sufficient and i used most of them .Good event, my first CC . On a really hot day this will be dangerously hot !

    I have a steel inbred with a 120 mm RS XX lockout dual air fork .I sold my carbon fork before even using it .My bike setup is as good as it gets and as comfortable as i want it to be

    My whoos is still sore from the last 2 events on a hardtail .I am so enjoying my SC Tallboy again

    I will be going as soft as i can without losing control .My weght is 100 kg .Front tyre 1.7 Rear 1.8 and shocks 10 psi lower than normal .On a Fox fork it is 100 psi and rear shock 210 psi

    He might have been cleared for other reasons than that is given .The pharmacist story just does not hold water .I believe he is clean ,but that the testing is where the mess up was made

    The first 2climbs of the day are tougher than the last one .Ending in the steepest part of the stage in the last 3km .Go try it !
