I have both crest and arch .I have used the crest bike only for training and the odd flattish race .Arch is obvious stiffer and stronger .I weigh 100kg and have had no problems i=n 3 years with the crests but i still will not bomb them at 60km/h down breed,s or similar descent like i would the arch set

Not to highjack this thread ,but i want to sell my brand new rapide carbon fork with straigh stearer .Not because of this incident .The fork is to short to use in my SS and will change the geometry to much

No road bike has or had them ever ! .I have 4 bikes and I cannot tell you if they are on or not .I know my laaitie looks at his occasionally mostly just before he takes a tumble .You never look at your handlebars EVER !

Same here .If i have little time i train harder over the same time period to make it worthwhile .I seldom check distance or heartrate when training and train until the wife calls or i don,t enjoy it anymore .For stage events i will do the hours ,but make them count .There is no time for long slow rides anyway

Used to buy online a lot .Problem is you buy stuff because of pricing and not because you need them .Sizing and models arn,t always the same as what you ordered .I have bought to much stuff that were wrong and the savings are minimal .I often buy things on the hub with great success. .Bought winter gloves yesterday at my LBS .The L,XL and XXL all fitted ,but the XL was just right in this particular brand
