  1. Agree !,Already have tallboy and highball .If they made a roadbike i would buy that to
  2. Already entered .I like the route .Will be sold out very soon
  3. Don,t ever leave your bike upside down with the little one,s around .they like to spin the wheel and then stick their finger in the biltong cutter AKA disc brake
  4. Yee ,yee Rub it in ! nice pic
  5. Looks heavy and unstable .The Grifter was a better bike IMO
  6. If you know your size have a look in the classifieds first
  7. Well done !Did you train specifically for this .I know the legs and heart will be O,K ,but i am not sure about 17 hours on a saddle
  8. When I want gears I ride my 2 x10 .If not I take the SS .My new bike has very limited space between the crank sprocket and chain stay I can see the potential for chain suck in the wet .For this reason alone I might change to XX1 .Gears make you lazy ,that why I mostly train with the SS .Going xx1 to save weight is stupid

  10. Why not .Everybody thought 27inch will not last and look where we are now .Same with 29inch .If there are advantages it will take of
  11. My daughter rides with ryder spd,s ,same as shimano .Turn the screw that tightens the cleat fit all the way to the negative 'LOOSE" side
  12. If you listen to a Harley engine roar it say's .Look how small my d%&k is ! Over and over again
  13. Good starting piont for Fox is your weight +10 psi front and double that for the rear
  14. Does not bother to much .I ride my own pace .It becomes bad when you are trying to stay in a bunch of hardened roadies that ride on top of each other and you do not feel safe riding that close
  15. The big dipper ! I have left some sweat on that dirt road !Great MTBing area all the way to the Attakwas vally
  16. Do the opposite of what the Aussies are doing !. In Aus there is no competative sport up to the age of 13 .They do not let talent get lost !!No passon for a sport will make it die .In RSA Rasicm is killing a lot of childrens passion
  17. Can,t just read this .It will take the whole B#*&^%y day
  18. We will never know how Meinyjies and van Rensburg would have fared in mens race .Pity !
  19. Ashleigh rode a very smart race .She never tried to be the hero and used the other teams as support .The gold and silver were the best on the day and i don,t think having a full team as support would have helped .Our team would not have kept up with Pooley
  20. i would,t use crests for that either .Arch should be fine
  21. Makes sense .Now that you mention it ,It was more comfortable nose down .I use a wtb silverado and spez avatar
  22. My weight is 100kg un kitted .i have both crest and arch .Never had a problem with crest in 3years .Currently my racing bike has arch rims .They are stiff , light and strong and can handle anything the magaliesberg can throw at them
  23. Well done Ashleigh .With no team support won bronze medal .The poms rode a good race .Aussies could not get a podium finish with all their tactics and support
  24. Using this now .After 50km of Highveld dust the chain wasn,t even dusty or brown and still running perfect .Expensive ,but worth it http://media.muc-off.com/851-large_default/c3-dry-ceramic-lube.jpg
  25. I rode the USN event at avianto today on my trusty Tallboy .Man! I was happy I was on the full sus .My SS has a 120mm fork with lockout .Makes the bike 1,5kg heavier but when you need it it helps .I am to old for a rigid fork anyway .Rigid forks are for 20 year old laaities that weigh 60kg
