So the time has come for me to look for a new lid after I cracked my Spez Prevail in an altercation with a Toyota... What I want to know is if the POC helmets come with a crash replacement like Bell, Spez and a few others? I cannot find anything on their website.

That is really crap workmanship, if they caused that when replacing pivot bearings. Another reason I do my own work on my bike

Go and ride both and spend your money on the one you enjoy the most. The sticker on the side makes no difference if the geometry does not work with your riding style... For the kind of money you are willing to spend you will definitely not buy a crap bicycle!

I agree, although my major service is not that frequently. The problem at hand here is oil residue on the stanctions which cannot come from damper oil.

The oil in the lowers... If the stanctions is full of oil on the outside because the wipers is done, then there might be too little oil left in the lowers. I am not talking about the oil in the damper...

Depends on how dirty it is on the inside, but buying second hand or pre loved is voetstoots so I would assume it would be on you. Take it to guys specializing in suspension services and get it sorted out properly and enjoy the ride.

so they serviced the lowers of your fork(replacing the oil) and did not bother to check the condition of your seals and wipers? I would demand a refund to be honest

Then just be open about it at the specialized store. Tell them you are looking to buy second hand, but you are unsure which frame size will work best for you. Usually they will help you out no problem, although I know about the odd case here and there where the shop assistant treats you like crap because he knows he will not be making a sale.

I think you are on the border between a Medium and a Large. In that case try and fit on the medium as the bike handling will be much better. I am on the cut off between a Large and XL and have always gone for the smaller frame as long as my setup stays within all the prescribed limits for the seatpost etc.

By the sound of the whatsapp conversation I would say that this is a scam purely based on the asking price. If he paid that much for the bike and its a 2018 model how does it make any sense to sell it for 25-30k? The other thing raising alarm bells is the urgency of the transaction. "Next week is too late" - I run away when a seller pulls this one on me. Just be glad you didnt pay the guy anything...
