I ride 540's and my boet Eggbeaters, neither of us complain about pedals and we did Epic with them

I may often jest about the 'big wheelers' but my honest opinion (don't let everyone know) is that they do have their place Having said that I have a problem with the die hard fans who consider it to be the panacea for all kinds of MTB ills (makes you faster, more skilled, fitter) and everyone must be riding one soon or you will be 'left behind' ....... even more so with the 'a 29r HT is the same as a 26r FS' disciples but ja whateva blows your hair back
