  2. And at the end of the day just like Campag's 11 speed it's just to get people to buy more ......................
  3. I would rather if it was an option have them subtract their saving from my entry fee if you don't mind Sir CottagePieMan
  4. I have done at home repairs with some dental floss a needle and a patch inside the tyre for a sidewall cut. Not trailside though .......
  5. The only issue I have with the BMX is when top up time comes it isn't that easy but is do-able though ............ What sealant did you use BTW? I have done my last one with OKO and so far so good!
  6. I don't see any problem with that but ....................................... no self respecting mountain biker would ever ride a bike with Schraeder valves, nearly as bad as bar ends on riser bars man
  7. Thanks DR, that insulation tape option just seems a bit 'Heath Robinson' to me but if it works with insulation tape then my idea with valveless BMX tjoop will work as well and will be a lot more 'professional'!
  8. So what ghetto tjoopless have you tried? If other please specify. Multiple votes allowed for you 'scientists' amongst us! Most know that I have done the BMX tjoop conversion but have yet to find removable core ones. If you use the 'cut out of a tjoop valve' then how do you seal the rim? I'm scheming how about a BMX tjoop with the valve cut out and 'replaced' with a removable core valve from some other tjoop! 1) How do you get the cut out valve to seal nicely with the valveless BMX tjoop? 2) In fact do you even need to or do you just tighten the valve retaining nut snug against the rim will it work? Your thoughts oh knowledgable dirty ones?
  9. Sorry to hear that WW but glad you're OK!
  10. Just wondering .................... No' date=' I'm not pregnant [/quote'] OK so that clears that out of the way ! Everything ok?
  11. Just wondering ....................
  12. I did 3 Leppin Ironman canoe triathlons on a Peugeot Mirage with full 7 speed 105 ....... LittleBen started on it and even rode his first R4V and 94.7 on it. With an 11-21 nogal! Ok but I did swap the 42 for a 39 ........
  13. Sorry BB' date=' got caught up with cynical Thursday on the Hub. Will think happy thoughts and see if it makes a difference. [/quote'] I bet it didn't
  14. Pretty much the issue which I had and described, interesting that it is amplified with SRAM since that is what I have on my Epic
  15. Check that outer length under the BB, Took a while to find my problem with that. When the suspension moves to a certain point the cable actually pulls from the stops. Cause of the brain it's not possible to check unless the bike is ridden.
  16. OK so if it happens to be an Epic then I had problems on mine that the outer that goes under the BB was slightly to short and it caused some ghost shifting. Does that help?
  17. Does it happen to be a red and white Epic S-works?
  18. So Specialized beat these other latest model TT bikes with their old models? Doesn't surprise me
  19. Tuck it in under your HRM chest strap -
  20. Don't want to be riding a TT bike after taking Viagra ........................
