  6. Your laaities will ride in the dark at the zoo farm you chop sorry, man, the sins of the father and all that... ps, hey mr specialized, my boet just bought his third spesh road bike: a tarmac sl. the paint job is really ugly. his older one is much nicer. we also had a giigle at groenies on sunday when we saw a laaitie riding a 12" spesh. It's not about the bike paint job, it's about the bike! At least there is hope for 1 member of the family. Aren't you 2 doing Epic together? You singlespeed?
  7. You used those exact words in a conversation with your wife? Oh dear...yes I did and my 1 year old daughter was in the back seat when I said it....why was I being disrespectful to her or the **** in the golf? Heh' date=' heh... I have done similar on occasion, except my daughter is 6... Now she is the first one to point out bad drivers, and tells me (and anyone else that will listen) that stupid people that don't know how to drive shouldn't be allowed... [/quote'] But do either of them refer to them as a d&&s
  8. Just a thought, did anyone commenting see it happen or have first hand knowledge of the exact circumstances? Do we know that there was no 'extenuating' circumstances i.e. a kid/dog ran in the road, a tyre burst etc. Use it, don't use it .....
  9. Your laaities will ride in the dark at the zoo farm you chop
  10. Not the short one. There's a small one towards the 1st water point. Believe me you'd be super chuffed when you turn right and dont have to do the monster that's ahead of you then like 100km on frikkin flat dirt road with some tar in between to make it more challenging Hog, after BG's apt description you coming? Like I said you can have coffee and pancakes with Dirtrider and the other ladies and then start at 9:45 (won't be so cold then either!).

  12. You know me to well Best regards from one stone ........
  13. You could go ride Walkerville short one with DirtRider and the rest of the girls on Sunday and it only starts at 9:45 ......
  14. Those are cool as long as where you put it is flat and with the shape (i.e. straight along the tube). Mint's option will work almost anywhere and probably costs a fifth of those others I would think. As you know on forks specifically there are odd shapes and you don't always have the option to force the brake hose (not very pliable at the best of times)straight up the fork tube so to speak.
  15. Mint's that is cool! Will use that for sure. Thanks again.
  16. OK sir I do it tonight for you .............
  17. They are ridden, yes all of them! They aint for show boy .........
  18. TNOSE_E - thought of that but I am hoping that running that 'skinny' 2.0 Killer Bee it should be OK, that is my test/project bike so I'm willing to take a few chances to see what happens though!
  19. Hey Parra - would appreciate that thanks, Mint's also has some ideas and said he'd post them later as well.
  20. Mate - As I said I have used Alligator's as well as BBB's on my Magura Julies no problem. That includes XC races, Marathon MTB races as well as a 24 hour. I am now using an Avid and a Magura on my XTR's and no problem. You decide ...........................
