Haha, there are children and woman folk on this forum and wouldn't want to scar them mentally with photos of me in shorts! I must say I enjoy the tinkering, building and finding solutions almost as much as riding. Retirement has its benefits, time is not an issue ????

Bit of an update to these bikes... Been a bit 'bored' so decided to tackle something I've been thinking about for a while. The Orange/black frame had been repaired at the seat tube, the silver one on the left chain stay. Neither of the welds have given any trouble but might as well build one frame with all the best bits. Naturally one can't have this hodge podge of colours so a paint update might as well be done ???? Was also an opportunity to upgrade the rear from QR to TA, again a challenge because it uses a longer than normal axle ????... Found an axle but the lever was bent, off to my aluminium welder mate to get it extended by 10mm and sort the lever. Anyway long story short, here's the result!

On the fashion front it would appear white socks and white shoes are in, our very own 'dale as always on point!

Having been through a previous bad experience with developers here in the south many years ago I am suspicious of what they will actually go through with despite their assurances. However I sincerely hope for both Wendell and Graham (by extension for all of us riders). that everything works out well!

I'm no authority on 'community' forums but BH has been through some 'upheavals' of different kinds over many years and always survived ... I'm pretty sure for those that are here primarily for the cycling content it will continue to be their go to place. Speaking for myself it will still be anyway. To paraphrase Mr. Twain 'reports of BH's death have been greatly exaggerated'

An absolute hoot to ride, more comfortable than I even thought and that 'magic gear' is ok for round here. Still dealing with some challenges so just short rides taking in boobies, smelly waters, smiles etc.

Haven't been out to ride since Sunday ... just some stuff going on so haven't really felt like it. Had to go out today even if it was just to 'settle the tubeless' on this bike.

My understanding is that much of the low to mid end production is in Malaysia but hey if there's northing to see here I hope you get the parts you need when you need them
