This S-Works Epic of mine has seen quite a few years of racing and is looking a little worse for wear... Stripped it down and it's currently at the painter. Planning something a bit brighter and more 'woke'... Let's see in a couple of days

Having taken your advice on this before I can only say do this, it makes a massive difference!

Just wondering how easiest to do that ... you sit on the bike and someone else adjusts it?

So what I take from this is that all bikes should then just be called 'bikes' since you can do almost anything with any bike ... if I recall the question wasn't about what you may use a certain bike setup for but rather the distinction between different bike types but I guess that's neither here nor there

Must be honest that it ticks all the MTB e-bike boxes to my mind... Not really what I reckon a gravel bike is At the risk of being tarred and feathered by the collective bike hub lynch mob I'd say the minimum requirements are rigid frame and fork, drop handle bars.. Yes I know it seems the bikes are moving away from that but then ride a mountain bike with gravel tyres but that doesn't make it a gravel bike Anyway best I take my rigid (if y'all will excuse the pun) ideas about bikes, take my jacket and leave [emoji12]

That tap at RWB has saved a few lives in it's time! Also the coldest best tasting water I've tasted direct from a tap

You can use any Shimano 11 or 12 speed rear derailleur with that 12sp Sunrace shifter. I have used an 11sp and am now using a 12sp rear derailleur no problem at all!

Just sitting here amused, you'll never have the prefect gear for ALL situations. Even roadies will sometimes 'spin out' but only you can decide what compromise you're prepared to make. On a 1x either you have a bad a$$ big gear and be part of the 'cool kids club' or you have a climb the wall type easy gear. Only by knowing what kind of terrain you mostly ride can you decide.... Its really not rocket science You know like single speeders always say they 'always have the wrong gear' but it's their choice and they live with it Round vs Oval... Like others I have only really felt that it helps with steep technical climbs where I seem to be able to turn the gear over and keep going easier, as far as the 'a 34 is like a 32 when climbing and a 36 at speed' not so much. Less fatigue not sure if makes so much difference I can out right state that it helps, not easy to judge. A 34 oval is my go to gear on all my bikes, go figure

#AgentOrange ready to ride ... it originally had a Java carbon fork but I had this steel fork and decided it'd be more fitting. Will see how it feels else I'll have the carbon one painted orange and fit it. The fork is 'very' orange might add some logos or something to it sometime #SteelIsReal

A similar observation is also that most of those guys who spin out with anything less than 34 have never used their 50/51/52 EVER ... [emoji6]

Big Thys the painter 'let it dry some more in the sun, maybe build tomorrow' SERIOUSLY DUDE! I'm torn between getting the frame back as soon as possible and waiting till it's actually ready to build ... I want to see what it looks like but then can't wait to start! #DutchJamisLoading
