  1. not to sound negative, but is the mtb still a dirt road "race"? non technical except for the small non technical petrus se brand singletrack section? i just can't see how people can fork out cash for a mediocore ride you can do any time of the year? again this is just my opinion...

  6. Anybody on here able to post personal in depth accounts of equipment that they use and their experiences using the equipment in varying conditions and terrain? For instance-the pro's and con's of a certain tyre,weight variations,longevity,pressure used running ?or how to properly set up suspension?with good to know advise rather than stupid pointless banter?   17. south africans are race marathon xco mad some will even stab you with a knife defending it(haha) and their ego's but in all honesty gravity enduro events are few and far between and the general riding although nice are sometimes not all that techy? those trails in NZ look awesome!they did a feature of them a while ago. i dont know to much of the riding around somerset but surely someone will be able to point you in the right direction... best of luck
  18. true that the bead just pops into place shazam!...with no sealant.but i would rather use the sealant than muck about fixing a flat. and changing a flat on a ust with a ust tire is not that hard.

  21. i recently started weekend war-ing...must say its more relaxed.you get the good hours of sleep(5-7) in the morning and wake up on a saturday thinking if or when you are going to ride...more of the other fun stuff open up because you are no longer commited to "die suid afrikanse" way of riding a bike the waves were awesome today...did i mis my bike while inside a pit?hell no. i have been riding a bike for quite some time and handling becomes second nature.. so just because i am war-ing(not the ladies of the night)doesnt mean i cant ride a bike.
