  1. Jip similar, he's been on those Norco's forever, but im not the biggest Norco fan, haha. going to have look at those voodoo's. still have time to look round to around Jan.
  2. Just another question, for the front chainring, would I use the smallring (inner ring) chainring and put the bashguard on the outer ring bolts? Using either a saint or SlX crank, but think my saint crank is a single chainring crank.
  3. Going to build myself a street bike again, but not looking for chromo/steel DJ type build, but rather something lighter. Thinking of a inspired element frame from tartybikes, finished off spares I still have laying around. Also thinking of popping a RS Revelation in-front, with adjustable travel to 115mm Are there other shops which sells similar type bikes? Should not be full on trials, as I still like to have a seatpost http://www.biketrial.si/shop/images/Inspired_element_24_2012_05.jpg similar to this is my idea: http://cdn.observedtrials.net/vb/attachments/f7/29442d1379787039-inspired-hex-front-suspension-photo-1-6-.jpg http://cdn.observedtrials.net/vb/attachments/f9/27997d1369338358-marino-inspired-suspension-gears-dual-disk-image-3295577350.jpg http://cdn.observedtrials.net/vb/attachments/f9/27988d1369265751-marino-inspired-suspension-gears-dual-disk-forumrunner_20130522_193546.jpg
  4. Babelas and wind, 2 deal breakers, haha. but I only do a race once a year and then enter at event...
  5. At the price of this bike, you can do whatever you want, it cannot fall. Also lands jumps by itself and makes coffee one minute before you wake-up in the morning
  6. Check CRC for best variety, price also not bad, add +/-R90 for postage and 14% for vat, Im really fond of their Nukeproof range. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/za/en/handlebars?f=2258
  7. Thanks for the headsup! not bad price for the frames. I however will only buy one brand, haha... Intense for me
  8. Some more, dont like road bikes much, but went through these guys pages (Calfee), some sweet bikes they make: http://calfeedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Calfee-Dragonfly-Adventure-Dual-Disc-650b.jpg
  9. Saw this on my FB feed today, looks pretty sweet.
  10. Post office! never had any problems
  11. A nice to have
  12. mmm... looks familiar (except the rear pivot, but that is very important part)
  13. LOL, was my 1st thought when I went for an organised fun ride on my Singlespeed the other day, all the bikes more expensive than my Bakkie haha. Its good for the economy and LBS's at least.
  14. Think its only the New to MTB'ing guys complaining about how expensive the sport is... If you used to ride in 2000, prices remained relatively the same, for over 12years!!! Be glad we have this immense choice of products and ride your bike. No one is forcing anyone to ride top of the range full carbon bikes.
  15. Dont think any shop can cancel your order quickly enough, its pretty much automated. Had the same problem with CRC. Their response was have it lay in the post office untill they send it back to sender and then they will compensate you. Not very use full, haha
  16. Wrong question, if you like it... buy it! logical thinking is not for this thread, haha
  17. I ride with flats with extra sharp screws... maybe this Idea is not the best, haha.
  18. Just your rhythm that is off. Happens to me sometimes as well. Those days when nothing feels right. Eg, bunnyhops will feel retarded... best is not to take big jumps or try something new that day. I have no reason for this, it just happens, next day its gone.
  19. they are pretty cheap, looking to get some bars and paraphernalia as well. My 1st thought was, how you gonna land a jump, haha Edit: The shop http://www.velosolo.co.uk/shopdisc.html
  20. Was thinking of going completely basic, slap rigid fork on my on-one and put a 6-bolt cog on my disc brake end of rear hub. Dont want to invest in a back-pedal hub, so was thinking of this. Can just imagine losing pedals on a downhill and having it spin uncontrollably underneath you. Any one rode it like this before? http://urbanvelo.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/gal3.jpg
  21. I wish, got the photo from Intense page. I only ride a meager 6.6, haha
