Wind on signal hill was average 104km/h, peak at 196km/h at some point (granted its right in the compression zone, so bit higher than on ground).. doubt normal mooring ropes would hold against that .. I'm just happy we back to normal today here, no wind. Our garden took a major beating, luckily trees are still upright although missing some branches.

I had more water in my frame than in my bottles... was rather misrable, but still my best race ... No hard breaking (breaks don't work in the wet) and everyone was really focussed on riding smooth as not to need breaks and not fall on corners.

tax law, any expense todo business is tax deductible (with some exceptions). If above R 5000 (when i last checked) its fixed asset and you have to write off over time period. So if you can proof you need it to run business, you should be able to deduct it. (But im not tax expert, just been running own business for 12 years from home) edit: solar repayment is now about 5 years, so capital outlay might not warrant savings if you need to make loan.
