  1. When you set up your jockey, just set it so that it won't jump to either the top or bottom gear
  2. You can use any wheels on Shim or Camp, just use the spacers of the group you are using.
  3. They're all the same, they just changed the paint, as it is to all manufacturers
  4. Had mine since mid 2005, Shimano Ultegra, clean once every 3months, done about 20000
  5. Polar's error correction is just way out, more than 10%, so very inacurate. And whats with all the wires on Polar's power meters. As far as the HR goes, simply the best
  6. A can of coke works wonders, cut a piece out of it and use it as a shim, works great because it is soft enough to shape accordingly to the place you fit it.
  7. Go with Mavic, I've ridden 3different Shimi wheels and all have broken spokes
  8. Kyalami Cycles, they build my wheels, Ambrosio Carbons, and they build Zipp's wheels as well
  9. For sub 15K you can get a Wilier or De Rosa from me, I import them both.
  10. Orbea make good strong frames, Wilier is better though.hehe
  11. Take it back to the shop you bought it from and exchange it for wheels with now eight limit, if the wheels break, the garantee doesn't cover it.
  12. Get a set of Lightweight wheels, cheaper and the 'more heavy' riders can also use them
  13. Looks to much like if something breaks you'de have buy new wheels.
  14. I think SRAM makes excelent stuff, but the groupsets are rather expensive.
  15. Curved forks are more comfortable, you don't feel all those holes of the roads, with straight forks, you do. I supose it depends what road conditions you ride on. The advantage with straight forks is that they are more responsive, more for racing in close proximity. For the everyday cyclist and funrider, go for curved, you'll enjoy your cycling more and you'de ride more.
  16. Octallink is the bb the same as shimano 9spd low profile cranks has. You get 2 main systems, ISIS and OCTALLINK, and of course the old type where the crank needs a crank puller to get it off
  17. 404 are specialized wheels where as the 303 you can use for anything, and they tend to be cheaper
  18. I would go for either a CF or Carbon/Alu, Ti flexes alot, but good memory. Carbon is good and comfortable, but rember that it has a lifetime, the older it gets, the more it starts flexing, you can of course stiffen it by popping the frame in a freezer, the fibres shrink again and the frame stiffens up. There are not many bikes that can compete against a Colnago, personally, a C40 or E1. I would be biast because I only stock Wilier, Cervelo and De Rosa, but a word of advice, stick to names that you know, have a look on the net at what bikes the bottom end pro teams ride, not the top teams. The reason for that is that the small teams has to ride that frame for the whole year, so it has to last. I've been riding my Wilier for 2years when I road in Belgium, and it is still as stiff as anything.
  19. For that amount you have alot to choose from, I would suggest Fulcrum or Mavic. Rold is good to, just really dufficult to fix and get spares
  20. I have a corima disc for the track(track hub). Does anybody know how I can get the hub out and where and how I can get a road hub. I know the hub just screws in, but how to get it out?
  21. Kyalami Cycles, they build a set of carbon Ambrosio's, best builders yet. They build all Zipp's wheels.

    Helmets

With Giro you end up paying extra just for the name, I've ridden with Giro and Bell, as they get made in the same factory, I couldn't notice any difference, I would say, go for Bell, just check about the crash garantee, don't know if Bell has it, it comes in nice and handy when you crash, you end up paying only about half for a new helmet
  23. You must come down to PE, here and in CT the stuff on the street is real, I even tried it out one time by taking it back to Oakley and exchanging it for another color, they didn't even spot the fake one. A while back I heard from someone that the fake ones come out the factory, but they are inferior and not suposed to ever make it outside the factory. They get destroyed and made again. Here in PE we can buy direct, but it costs the same as in any other store, so what's the point, one thing I must say is that Oakley kicks ass when it comes to style.
  24. Ya I know, you right, but then they complain when people buy the sunnies on the street corners for R50 and call it fakeleys. Problem is, the fakeleys is actaully "realleys", they just come out the back door of the company.
