Bazzer, the power sensor will work with the 720i and 625x models for sure, not sure if it will work with any of the other models. Willehond, the polar is definitely tricky to set up and get working properly. I never managed to get mine consistent across all gear combinations. There is a lot of wiring with the older unit, and the memory capacity is not great. Sample storage is every 5 seconds which in power terms is very coarse.

If your wife has not entered the SuperSeries, she will not be put in the category combined with the men. She will race in a ladies only category. Only difference is that the top ladies won't be there, they will be in the SuperSeries category. The SuperSeries does not take any of the other categories away, so there will still be the normal Vet's and Ladies categories, there is only the addition of one new category.

Johnny B, yes, this is the "Vet's and Ladies SuperSeries" and the goal of it is to raise the level of Vet's and Ladies racing in S.A. I can promise you, Saturday and Sunday were the hardest racing in a long while. At this point the ladies are not able to make the breaks or the climbs with the Vet's (sitting wheel won't get you there either). When they are able to do that, then I'm sure they will become more positive in their racing strategy, but for now, tactics are not really relevant - and that is the way it is in Europe for them at the moment. We are hoping to provide a stepping stone towards that goal.
