Then on Monday I tested some singletrack being built at Morgan Bay. Lacking a bit of flow, and imho unsustainable with fall line trails, and no water management. I'll see in a years time after the rainy season. They were a lot of fun though

Spent the long weekend with my parents at Kei Mouth, so decided that a little exploration in the Transkei was in order for Sat We crossed over this river, Xolora, way above the normal crossing point. Went for the first ride in a few weeks, after having a bad throat infection, then cold allergy . Buddies persuaded me to take them through our local mountains. 40km with 1250m elevation, there was a bit of climbing, so much that I took few pics. I made this for my daughter, then put led strips around the inside of the bed for lights on the desk. Excuse the mess, teenager at hostel during holidays, all her *** had to come home this holiday so got dumped on the floor under the bed.

So we arrived back home, and Olivia saw the horse in her paddock behind our house. What horse is that, and why's there another horse here, I've got 2 Basotho ponies.She burst into tears when we told her the horse was hers. Tugela was spoilt and then ridden all afternoon. That name's going to have to change, too much like Tequila ;-)

Nothing like a run on the farm. This old lady was delivered this morning, a surprise for Olivia, who is enjoying her riding so much. A really gentle horse, who enjoys scratches and carrots. Olivia is away spending time with her grandparents, so this will be a surprise when she gets home tomorrow.
