Talking of alcoholism, I laughed at a buddy of mine. He decided that he wanted to give up smoking, but when he drank he wanted a smoke, and to tell the truth, he enjoyed his booze a bit too much. So he decided to stop drinking, which he has done, he's been on the wagon for about 3 years now, but he still smokes . He says he's giving up now though, so I'll bug him until he chucks his cigarettes away.

And in winter the riding is even better, dry hard trails and not so hot. [emoji48]

My daughters 9 tomorrow, that meams I've been off the smokes for 9 years. Well done on giving up. Remember the lus for a smoke only lasts for a few minutes, then it goes away. You just need to resist for those few minutes

Had to make a plan with my dogs over the hols, while we were away. Maxi the Border Collie went to spend the hols in Kei Mouth with my parents, bit my mom refused to have Fudgie the Jack Russell, so she came to Cape Town with us, we slipped her into our overnight accommodation on the way down. In CT she kept my sisters Border collies company. Was great getting home now with the dogs.

I am quite surprised at my weight loss over the holidays. LCHF mostly went out the window, but I still managed to lose 1kg. This despite no riding due to injury, and drinking too much beer. I guess that the habits, and not eating bread and sugar stood me in good faith.

The Lord of the Chainrings will be moving, to April/May, and I think, may not be happening in 2015, and only from 2016 if I heard and understood correctly. About time too, setting a MTB event in November in the Hogs is asking for a muddy ride
