    A camera is an excuse to stop, I always take it with me. Lekker ride with a buddy JG, on Sat. Was a real babbelaas buster ride, after watching Gino Fabbri on Fri night and drinking way too many beers. JG suggested that we give it a skip at about 12ish Friday night, but I put in my veto. This was at Thomas River

    I'm going to have to make a plan to visit my cousin and ride these trails, and Karkloof.

    I know, can't get it tighter, even removing a 1/2 link. I'll have to wait for it to wear. The cage around the cog and the chain device keep it on.

    I went for a ride this afternoon to check water, and exercise my dogs. Then to look for boletes under the oaks

    Our farmers rode up the Thomas River from Henderson and then over a hill and back to our starting point. Only got the camera out twice, as my legs were tired from the climbing There's a road coming down that hill on the left, we've made plans to ride that section some time, should be good. We rode past this abandoned house

    JG's lost 35kg since he was diagnosed with diabetes, Drew's not too thin, he's been a bit lazy lately, like me

    BTW the Henderson ride is on the 31 May, a great ride, and great hospitality from the local farmers.

    Our group of farmers rode a 30km route on farms on the Thomas River, between the Thomas River area and Henderson. Great ride for the first time in 4 months after I shattered my wrist. 30km killed me though. Took the chicken route back down the tar.

    Mine's not flash. I try to ride flats for a part of the year. Riding flats now after a 3mo enforced layoff.

    The Bigwig being inspected by Fudge The chain is a bit slack, but is very secure with the chain device and the cage on the hub. I couldn't tighten it, it's just too tight with one link less. I'll have to ride a bit then remove a link.
