  1. Hmmm, nice posts Dale. Makes a lovely sound. A chap in my area owns one, really brightens my evening when he returns from work.

  3. The Soloist for R20k with Zipp 404s sounds like a really nice deal. Homeboy with the R3 claiming its worth R80k is a bit optimistic I think

  6. Geraldm24, thanks for organising the event yet again. Had a great time, even though my picks didn't do nearly as well as I'd hoped. I'm looking at you Cadel Evans/BMC.
  7. I got a shadow plus xt rd in the mail. Is it as good as they say? Any negatives you've found?
  8. http://forums.mtbr.com/drivetrain-shifters-derailleurs-cranks/xtr-m985-vs-m986-difference-820478.html M985 = hanger M986 = direct mount RD
  9. AFAIK its the difference between direct mount derailleur (bolts onto frame, not the hanger) and mounting to a derailleur hanger
  10. Campag Shamal's or even Eurus/Zonda. I'm in love with mine. Light, medium section and most importantly: bullet-proof.

  12. Good quality store. Have bought a few items from them myself. Good service, quick delivery, and overall great experience. Highly recommended.

  14. Source? I have data from the Cochrane collaboration which wholly contradicts those claims. Not the most reliable source IMHO. Again, that does not mean that high cholesterol is not implicated in atherosclerosis. It just means that those other risk factors may be considered first before cholesterol. This is also in his opinion (which is quite a controversial one), and one must be discerning and read evidence oneself before agreeing to such claims, not simply because he's Prof. Noakes That is a very broad, and largely untrue statement I'm afraid. I'm not denying that it doesn't happen, but certainly not EVERYTHING. Many very reputable studies are not sponsored by big pharma, and even if they are: a discerning, educated individual can still decide if the quality of the study is up to standard and worth basing clinical judgement on.
  15. Pfft. Only 50? I can get to 50km/h easily. On the jeeptrack.
