  1. Some time ago I had the same on parts. CRC offered them to me @50% discount which I took
  2. I have used MyUS in the past and it was efficient and seamless, however my parcels were small.
  3. I ride the Emonda SL6. It climb better than my Madone 5.2 I had, but is more nervous than the Madone. I am very happy with it. Don't know Cannondale so can't compare
  4. https://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/shimano-brake-cable-set-polymer-coated R250
  5. I went through there at about 17:30 with nobody else around if that helps.
  6. Found some barrier tape with new arrows (some over the existing direction signs) this afternoon on the red route - that part where you ride through the vineyard on Goedehoop. Is that part closed now? Bit confusing as it is in the middle of the vineyard and then route you back to the homestead. Not sure what that is about as you can't continue it seems. Can somebody help? Don't want to upset landowners.
  7. I went down that road at about 11:15 on Sunday. I saw them on the left in the vineyard but they looked younger to me. They were watching but to far away to bother me. Did not feel they were a threat.
  8. I used a track pump to set Bontrager tyres on mine.
  9. Ons is eintlik 4 Daisies. Jy vergeet van my vrou!
  10. For Trek warranty : warranty@darkhorsebrands.co.za
  11. Try Ay Up lights. Expensive but very good helmet light
  12. How big are these blikkies? We are a team of 4 and I was wondering how much stuff we can each put into these things.
  13. I was loading 2 bikes the other day into my car in Stellenbosch and one of those self-appointed parking attendants desperately wanted to help me. What struck me was how accurate his assessment of the value of the 2 bikes was and why. It was no guess on his side.
  14. You can try here: http://www.oaklane.co.za/index.php?id=6
  15. I have a brand new Fox Float CTD with trail adjust for sale
  16. This year was the first in 6 attempts that I did not cramp at Suikerbossie. I stopped using anything as nothing ever worked. The main change in training was intensity. Some are lucky, some not. I am not one of the lucky ones - I have to up the intensity to prevent the cramping. I also find that standing from time to time helps a lot.
  17. It depends I would say. There are many different kinds of Bontrager tyres. I used both Gatorskin and Bontrager and prefer the Bontrager - they had a better feel and last, but they were more expensive than the number quoted.
  18. Tankman you have a PM. I am looking for input/advice
  19. I would have said Trek, but with my recent experience with the distributor I would be very reluctant to buy any Trek related equipment.
  20. You can try Bottelary Hills - about 10k away from Vredekloof, but you will need a day pass. Look at Tygerberg MTB website for their routes. Further out Stellenbosch (Jonkershoek and around) or Tokai.
  21. As usual there are always the good and the bad. I send an inquiry via their web email and never received a reply. Phoned a couple of times with nobody answering. I then just gave up as there's other places I could go to.
  22. Just then look at WP Athletics to see what really happened when the mother body started to own/control everything. It is a power and money thing, nothing else.
  23. To my wife on Bottelary road today guys when she had the flat. Much appreciated. It is always appreciated when fellow cyclist stop to help the ones in need.
