  2. Blerrie good for you. Own it and sort it; that's how honorable men work. We all make mistakes, it's what we do after that defines us.
  3. Do expand on this for us? Unless you literally mean sitting on the seat, coz that would seem obvious.
  4. What price, what kind of riding, weight,?
  5. 3 runs for each group, then first 2 from each group go through.
  6. 3 heats isn't it? But he isn't even in the same postal code
  7. What!? No way! What a wucking fanker
  8. He is so far off the pace this year :-(
  9. Crossing over at 16:05 on SSHD3
  10. I saw one of these on the roof of an Audi I think it was, behind fourways crossing today; one of you guys?
  11. They were pointless jibber and stirring.
  12. I saw the CWC build of a Santa Cruz bike, and it got me thinking; who do I contact to buy a Santa Cruz frame? Is there somebody local, or an overseas online store?
  13. Yea, they lost out on a Spez sale to me earlier this year, and their stock of accessories is too limited, and yup, service non existent
  14. Only 30 out of 32? Nooit!
  15. Is it still a FP shop, or just have the old sign up? I heard it changed hands?
  16. I used to dream about getting Spez. Since my return to cycling I have seen really big issues with Spez in SA ; bikes arriving >4 months late, limited stock of accessories and poor after sales backup. I still look at their top bikes and drool a little, but I really don't see me buying one in SA any time soon.
  17. Myself +1 are still keen, but training has been delayed and might end up being myself +3 - for the 12hr
  18. Always a ride on for me (platform). Steadier, front wheel doesn't turn, weight not on top tube etc.
  19. Stretch - I have one. When I bought it I said I'd never drive at more than 100km/h and only short distances with it. Since then my confidence in it has grown, and i have done >140km/h with it on longer drives with no problems. I was skeptical at first, but it seems to be ok. Of course if I were a rich man, I'd buy the Thule.
  20. Are you suggesting that jcza's partner is a handful?
  21. That would bother me.
  22. Thanks. I want small classes, maybe even one-on-one.
  23. Anybody have thoughts on mtbskills.co.za or the training from Tread?
  24. I will need to check, but, not really fast. It seems to happen anywhere from about 40km/h or so.
