    On the Vikings series, does anyone have them that would be willing to make them available via FTP? I believe I watched some of them on Netflix in SA but they’re not available on Netflix here. Has anyone watched them and The Last Kingdom and how do they compare? Thanks

    **Queens Gambit spoiler alert. If you don’t want to know what it’s about don’t read this** I have been watching this (1 episode to go) with great excitement for such an amazing young mind but also with dread that she is just never going to pull it together, and after episode 6 it seems that she likely never will. Which brings me to my next point, I really struggle to watch things like this where there is so much amazing promise and yet such immense challenges that stifle that promise; I find it so tragic. What is interesting too is that I can understand having challenges like these (that hold people back) to a point, whereas there are people who cannot understand it at all because their lives have been so different. It’s been a tough yet enjoyable watch.

    It’s been said for some time now that there are many levels of quality to the products coming out of China, some are exceptional and some are cheap and nasty. Sadly most people have only been exposed to the cheap and nasty so they assume all made in China products are that.

    My wife had a screen issue on a phone a while back. Took it to an authorised (by insurance) repair centre. Waited weeks for a part and when we got it back there was a noticeable difference in the height of the screen and it no longer sits flush; we were told this is normal. About 2 weeks later the screen stopped working. It was replaced again, it stopped working again. We just got a new phone and the frustration was gone. Seriously, I don’t need crappy repairs, or to have to buy a new one, but if it saves me the frustration of being without a working phone etc then I’ll just get a new one.

    Ah, I see. The family wants to holiday in Spain when Covid and funds allow and of course I’m hatching to take the bike [emoji56]; it will be the road I’ll be looking at. I was also thinking maybe Girona, is that a bit cliched? [emoji1]

    On the road the mapping, cadence, HR zones are the things I a look at most, and I’m starting to use the elevation graph now. On MTB it’s the cadence on non technical climbs especially, and the HR that I look at, the rest I look at after the ride. If I had a power meter I imagine I’d be looking at that a bit.

    To be honest, to many people like myself this whole repair thing doesn’t even feature in the decision of what phone to buy.
