  1. I'd have multiple, if it were mine. Mind you I'd probably sell it and get 10 smaller homes all around the world, and travel to them every now and then.
  2. Lusted after one of these, back in the day... Joh.
  3. I have one of these (Gillette Aristocrat) with the felt-lined steel box for it, for when I shave. Every 6-12 months, maybe longer.
  4. Flies have always been a problem at hoogies, unfortunately. Conties gets affected as well, but HK takes the cake in terms of the pure number of flies. Only thing I've found that sorta helps is a dose of mozzie repellant before the ride.
  5. Yes, why not? Would you do the same for a normal non ebike rider? If not, why not? And if so for the normal bike, but not for the ebike, why not? Common courtesy. BUT. If he was shouting TRACK / STRAVAAA etc, I'd inform him politely that a more respectful interaction would be advisable, lest he encounter someone not so amenable
  6. You'd be paying DHL / UPS / whatever a handling fee as well, on top of the courier fee. This isn't a skynet only fee. It's standard across courier services, as well as SAPO.
  7. Their new ADDIX Snakeskin casings are better & tougher than the older snakeskin casings on their Ron and Ralph. On the Magic Mary the Snakeskin casing used to be far tougher than on the Ralphs, for some reason. This is probably the only time I'd consider a set of Crossmarks for a bike, though. LOL.
  8. Yup. Google "Cake Smash". Looks fantastic in pictures, but all it is is a popularity contest. OMG look how I spoil my child it's sooooooo *cute*! Essentially it's a contest to see who can ruin the most expensive cake. Drove me mental when I was still married.
  9. Have you cleared doing DIY on the dude's house before you call a prof in? Not being funny, but some landlords are decidedly anti-DIY and won't like the idea of their tenant fixing something without a professional
  10. You mean the one where she's wearing a curtain?
  11. Nice one, Johan! I haven't weighed in this week yet. Managed to get back on to the MTB on tuesday for the first time since Ezel, and am doing another session this afternoon. Then gym tomorrow morning, for a bit of a weights session.
  12. And if they do get chewed up, you can get them re-soled at Barksole for R 800 or something for the correct rubber.
  13. That supercharged bimmer with no rear squish, yeah. He was wringing that thing's neck!
  14. Dis 'n man oven, Flippie. Baie mooi ding, daai. My best meal ever on a weber was a pork belly. Got a thermometer to monitor the temp, added briquettes in teh "snake method" with some hickory chips dotted around, and kept the temp at 120deg by closing / opening the vents. 4 hours later, PERFECT meat where the fat was almost gelatinous and melted as soon as it hit the mouth. OMF.
