  1. It'll go GREAT. Done it a few times like that. I found that with the top and bottom vents opened just a *touch* that temp stabilised at about 120deg C, which for a low and slow cook is bloody marvellous. You'll just need to take the lid off at the end to let the coals flare up again if you're wanting the crackling. Need to turn it fat side down for a bit. If you want an easier way of doing the crackling, cut the skin off before you put it on the weber, but place it on top of the belly again and cook it with the belly until it's ready to come off. Then, pre-heat your oven to the hottest it'll go, and when you're resting the belly or in the last half hour, pop the skin into the oven (after drizzling olive oil and salt on it) in an oven tray, raised on a cookie cooler tray thing. Easiest way of getting GOOD crackling.

  3. I thought that was in reference to the article, seeing as that was the 2nd part of your last sentence noted? Anyway. It depends on the tyres actual width, profile and shape. Not as simple as your assertion of 2.4 this and that. If I misunderstood your post, my bad.
  4. Erm, except it doesn't actually say THAT. A 2.35 magic mary is bigger than a 2.5 Maxxis WT. So it depends on the tyre's measurements. Unfortunately, one cannot rely on the width rating to determine how big it is, as each company has a different measurement method. 2.6 Spaz is about the same as a 2.5 WT, and about the same as a Mary 2.35 2.6 Maxxis is only ever so slightly wider than a 2.35 Mary... The answer, therefore, is "it depends"
  5. From experience in just one product, the Builders ebony stuff seems to do well when mixed with Woodoc 10/20 etc. can still see grain, as long as you wet the grain slightly initially. In my experience, at least. I'd ask my grandfather, but he doesn't have much experience in ebonising stuff. Kiaat and Walnut are the woods he prefers to work with.
  6. HEATHEN getting what he deserves, post Mary-divorce. Make peace, dear brother. Admit thy fault and embrace the spurned rubber once more.
  7. Yeah, except that they DIDN'T do it with their phones. People underestimate the value of a good design process. This is a simple design, yet probably had to satisfy all sorts of requirements and conditions. Fact is, they needed to design something. Someone had to design it for them. Someone (the designer) still needs to eat, and ABSA are a pretty large entity. Therefore, the logo is pretty darn visible, and the charge for the design should also reflect that (impact / reach / visibility / turnover etc) as well as if there would be royalties for use in the future, or if it's a once off payment for their IP. IMO R1m for a design for ABSA is pretty low. It'll feature EVERYWHERE.
  8. With swollen glands, I wouldn't. Your body is fighting an infection / virus. Don't tax it unnecessarily.
  9. HAHAHAHAHAHA! You're not far off, based on some policies I've seen...
  10. Yeah, his roles in Punisher & The Accountant are perfect. Really, really good. A few steps above that in TWD
  11. He seems to be able to deal with the worn tyres a lot better than anyone else.
  12. Best race I've seen in AGES! Bloody hell, that was exciting! How the feck did MM save THAT!? And Lorenzo & VR managed to both stay on when JL lost the front?! Then the passing... oh my word, some of the best passing I've ever seen. Bring on more, please! I'm disappointed that VR didn't make the podium, but damn, did he show thet young whippersnappers some late braking goodness. He was also fastest through there than anyone, save for that last maneuver on Dovi on the last lap. But Rossi, whyyyy did you have to try and keep it in when Dovi passed on the inside... Still an INCREDIBLE race, and any one of them could have won it until MM turned on the taps with his Honda on the spent tyres.
  13. My almost brand new NB 860's got swiped on Thursday, along with the rest of my gym kit and a jacket. Ffs.
