  1. suppose it's a case of not worrying about the changing conditions, and just thinking "okay, it's dry, I can ride like THIS" or "It's wet, I have to ride like THAT" Inclement conditions are his kryptonite, it would seem...
  2. That's what he is, though, IMO. He's fantastic at the front, but if he's not there...
  3. Mine was 3h45 total, 2h20 moving time, 19km total destance & 720m ascent. Actual recorded time for all stages was 18m53 and winning time was 13m41 (Martin "Fietsman" Zietsman, with 2nd place @ 13m48 of Nils Hansen on his Mercer hardtail
  4. Yeah, Nils can certainly ride. And as Meurant said. Thank god he wasn't on a nine. Otherwise he'd have had to change the course again. The ou bokke are damn fast, but also have the time to ride tho. No more kids. Executive positions. Etc.
  5. that'll teach you for not running tubeless! More to the point though. Tubeless Conversion Packs need to be catered for on test bikes. Can't have tubes!
  6. Neither was I, despite wanting to challenge for the final reverse-podium position! Legs were DEAD at stage 4 though. yaaaassis.
  7. Ah, that would explain why it's not syncing. Above was my ride stats straight from the garmin, but I've had a "sync failed" on the watch.
  8. Just hit 3,000 points thanks to the Delvera enduro. 3h48 @ avg 158 bpm (84.5% avg according to age related HR)
  9. Well that was ****ING AWESOME!!! I am dead, my legs suffered hugely on the climbs and protested savagely when I tried to pedal on stage 5, but I hit my goal of passing someone (stage 3 - my favourite of the lot) but then had a stick wedge in my chain, which meant I had to stop and fix it. All in all, a FANTASTIC day, with Martin Zietsman taking the win overall. Definitely need more fitness.
  10. correct. Soft cap will remain at 1200 points, seeing as it's still bladdy easy to get there...
  11. That IS the weekly goal that they've adjusted downwards. Over the next few weeks and months it'll be raised at intervals of 50 per week / increase until it gets to 1200 points again and you're comfortable with the new system
  12. Only problem is, that there's not many good examples of the double cab around...
  13. Agreed, though finding one of those with an original engine is like finding gold in the middle of the atlantic. Another good motor to put in there is the scooby 2l / 2.5l, and guys have also put audi / vw v6's and GTI motors to get a bit more reliable power out of them. My choice (long term) at the moment is between one of these: or one of these: http://srv2.betterparts.org/images/vw-t3-14.jpg with this on the back. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a351/JeffK95Z/hitch/P5170290.jpg
  14. send Arina a mail or drop her a call. Sure she could help you out.
  15. Yeah. Also an option. Probably more practical in the long run as well, but the idea of a bakkie is just so tempting. Load the bike, done. Camping? Done. Long trip? Done. A bus does add a few more options though. DAMMIT!
  16. http://www.wareable.com/apple-watch/new-apple-watch-2-features-specs-release-date-1125 http://www.techradar.com/news/wearables/apple-watch-2-what-we-want-to-see-1289202 I'd also wait for the 2nd iteration.
  17. LOL. All I saw was a period (.) and you saying "you're welcome" I'm hung over, so maybe i missed it? EDIT: FML. I see it now. Dumbass, I are.
