  1. Nope. Even without your real name you can be taken to court.
  2. I've been the subject of such a rant, thanks to a radically misconstrued post that was purposefully taken out of context. Some of you may remember.
  3. My name is Mayhew. Often referred to as Mayhem, even in official correspondence. People seem to think they're connected somehow.
  4. Yeah dude, but that's Mark Hopkins ffs. And Theo Erlangsen. They're not exactly your average rider..
  5. Very nice. That's the next thing in my tool purchase list. After my existing one goes bang, that is...
  6. Pyga Pascoe for me. If I were to go SC I'd go either Bronson Alu or the Tallboy LT. But then I'd rather have the Intense Tracer 275 over the SC. Pascoe still wins it imho.
  7. You must know some reaaaaaally small midgets. Either that, or you're packing a 50 litre backpack every ride...
  8. Yep. I know my conversion (using WTB Weirwolf on a Spank Subrosa) cost me 2 crowbar tire levers and at least 75% of my sense of humour balance.
  9. Snapped 2 trying to get my WTB Weirwolf UST tire onto my Spanks. Yes. On the same tire. Nevr getting that thing off...
  10. Right to a point. But - they also need people on the Gold levels because they cost Disco less ito claims and so on. So they want to push more people off the couch and into less sedentary lifestyles. The okes that were gymming and doing fitness assessments all the time aren't the problem - it's the slobs doing one fitness assessment per year and the screening checks that they wanted to get more active. It's a trade-off. They want people there, but they want people to earn it and become healthier at the same time. It was also perceived as an easy thing to get to - no worth was placed on ACTUALLY getting there. Now that people know that they have to do more to get there, they may actually take note of what they're doing and what they need to do to get there. And how much the rewards (when tied with the life policies) are actually worth. They've always said that they want to change the way their clients behave from a nutrition & exercise (general health) perspective - Vitality is the tool that they're using to do that. And it's farking successful.
  11. and so is this... http://www.sicklines.com/news-images/five_ten_freerider2s.jpg
  12. Just remember that not all stems have the gap at TDC (top dead centre) so if you're measuring off a gap that isn't at TDC you have to think for a bit before clamping.
  13. That would be one moerse big torx. But I have one... LOL!
  14. NICE!!! Deon told me about this little project last friday. Must admit it's a KILLER idea.
  15. Camelbak. Every ride. Holds normal pump, shock pump, water, randelas, phone, multitool and any schnacks I want to take along for the longer rides. No bottle cages.
  16. Oh - that's at my mates place. He only had a man oven. I have a proper braai and a man oven. I prefer wood over anything else. Last time I used a bit of my oak offcuts in the fire. Joh, was that good!
  17. Nope. 1.7kg for sure. The previous one was 1.6kg, then before that a 1.7 and 1.3 together. At R59 per kilo you can't go wrong...
  18. Btw... This is what was on the braai this weekend. 1.7kg prime rib. Done all the way between medium and bleu. Yes, you can do it like that with proper care. Interior = bleu fading to medium on the outer edges

  20. Dude. Whipped cream in a can! ? Wtf is this, American Pie!?
