  1. Cap, I know that he's trying as hard as he can to motivate additional trail. But at the moment, there are those same 3 letters being thrown back at us all. EMP...
  2. Now, see here. That's the wrong approach entirely. I mean, think about it yourself and finding a solution instead of blaming and swearing and buying your way out of a little problem like that. I mean, who needs common sense!?
  3. Syntace is a version of a 12mm through axle. Just a different fastening standard AFAIK. Go for 12mm TA. It may be either 135mm wide or 142mm wide, but Both are interchangeable through swapping adapters on the hubs.
  4. Hey Stretch, that's very different to the European standards then. If you think about it, anyone coming from the preceding entrance, trying to get to the second exit, would potentially have someone cutting him off If they were following those directions...
  5. If you are in the outside lane of a circle, the accepted rule is that you are taking the first exit to the left. Any other exit and you MUST (as a road user and vehicle) use the inside lane and use it as you would while in the car. You cannot blame another road user for your inappropriate use of the circle. As was said before - own the road. If you were in the outside lane, road users would reasonably assume that you are taking the first exit. If another road user carried on straight when I was observing the proper use of a circle, I would vloek him solid for being a Douche and not observing law of the road. As the driver should have done to you. Simple really. Edit: spelling
  6. Nope. Novatec are a dream to service. They take normal sized bearings and make a lot of hubs for third party providers. Very under rated.
  7. I use it now on my note 3. Can pair with my garmin hr strap...
  8. Then that's the gourmet bacon. Cannot cannot compare the price of that to a pack of PNP bacon.
  9. Which bacon? The wood smoked one in the white packet or the normal one in the blue? Blue packet is definitely 250g. And not R 36 per pack. They also do a larger 500g pack in white packaging for approx R50
  10. It's a couch... of sorts. Inspired by the Danish "plank sofa" design. But with amendments like an arm rest and an ottoman to turn it into an L-shaped segmented sofa.
  11. Not a purchase per se, but more the end result of previous purchases. 2 sheets of shutterply, screws, glue and my Christmas present from my folks culminated in this.... still need to make the ottoman that goes with it and complete the armrest on the rhs (as you see it here)
  12. My pleasure guys... consider it my gift to you. I'm busy finishing a new couch for home. Will post pics in the "latest purchase" thread once done
  13. Dropout facing tool... Sounds like Malema in his final year of primary school
  14. Nice! I'm chucking my old jigsaw in the bin. Useless pos.
  15. Still, dude. Even a brand new wheelset still needs to be dished correctly more often than not. Yet another reason to take them to a reputable wheel builder. But dude, you NEED to go back and demand rectification of the problem. Cos it is a problem.
  16. No that is NOT common practice! Your lbs needs to be taken to task. The front wheel should be dished according to the hub it has. Disc hub = dished differently and it must line up with the centre of the fork crown. To FILE THE FORK DROPOUT is very very very bad form. They owe you a very good explanation and possibly a new sett of fork lowers
