I've been having a look at some 1/14 scale jobbies recently, for my son and I to play with. Specifically the WLToys range from AliExpress / banggood etc. Less than 2k, very good spec for the price and loads of spares available. The 144001 and 124019 look like proper little rippers. But thats for when I have more cash. In the meantime my old Tamiya classic mini build (which I got in 1998 or so) will have to do.

Just reduce the level of downforce on all cars. Instafix. Oh ja. Stroll. I reckon he psyched himself out, properly. Norris's pace was electric, in the last 15 laps. He closed a gap of over 30 seconds on the guys in front of him. Gaining on the front runners by over a second per lap, at times. Sainz, too. Great race pace from them both.

Yup. For all that I don't like him personally, he's still an excellent driver and deserves this win and championship

Sadly, this is as the OP suggests. Meh. If you already have a chosen bike and it's available at the retail outlet, at a good price, then it's a decent benefit cos you get 5k back for an outlay of 890 or whatever it is. Otherwise just get it at the cheapest price you can. If it's 5k cheaper elsewhere, then the benefit makes no sense.

Confession time. I fell off the wagon. Work stress, unwanted side effects of head-meds (resulting in me going off them over a course of 2 months) and other things I can't go into, resulted in me going from 93 earlier this year to a current 99.8. I've been hovering around the 99-101kg mark for the last couple months, and my weight has not been on my priority list AT ALL. That's changed, as of last week. A new position at a different practice, potential of far more opportunities within the new practice, and an overall better sense of wellbeing has led me to the point of being able to focus on my weight, again. My exercise has been non-existent, apart from helping people move house, and spending time hiking and riding with my lightie. I have a lot of work to do these next 2 months if I am to get back to where I was, 4 months ago.
