  1. Personal opinion. Merc Strat team is historically unchallenged and has their best case scenario a borne out by superior machinery. Had bred an aura of superiority Ito "we can't be wrong cos..." and their adaptability is poor due to atrophy. They had the fastest car so any strategy was a good one. Ferrari is Italian. Italian strategy is always better because it's Italian. Even peak Italians like Rossi can't tell Italian teams how to go faster, because the boss is always the boss and the rider just delivers pizza under 20 minutes otherwise he pays for it. Red Bull have been top, bottom, sideways and interspatial over the same period. The Jack Russel when it comes in and all the other dogs are just staring at the snake slithering up to the kid. The F1 version of PARKOUR!! if you will. Raggedy. Gutsy. Always willing to have a punt if there's a 69.420% chance of working out. Or not. Who cares. They shoot for the moon when the likes of Toto and DoorMattia are staring at their well tailored team principalities, The Secreting their way to success.
  2. If you like spaghetti, get the 32 stepcast and make a lekker aglio e olio. It should cook up just al dente and hold its form about as well. The Reba has aglio for breakfast. And will carry on trucking while the stepson gets punished yet again.
  3. Ja... Tomfeckery of the highest order. Yuki is blunt. To his detriment sometimes, but he is still a decent racer. McD's stuffed their strategy. End of. Like Ferrari, they seem to thrive on alternate strategies but never know how to take advantage of changing circumstances. They're flat-footed sanctimonious know-it-alls that can only lose because someone else is cheating, even when their first placed driver is making all his results on his own despite their multiple failings. No wonder Horner comes across so cynically. He's had Toto barking for Kansas for the last 10 years.
  4. Yeah.... And Lew Lew with his little frothy again... As soon as it's Hamfistilton it's okay to be emotional in the heat of the moment, and you don't *really* mean what you say. Unless you're not Hamfistilton, in which case it's what you really think... And the Lew Lew cheerleaders with their Hamfisted attempts at justifying a lack of strategic planning abilities.... Sjoe. Yes, I'm back. Back again. Mayhem's back, tell a friend.
  5. Yeah. Can't keep them away from their favourite doof doof.
  6. And if you haven't cleaned your seals recently, you need to give them a vis or two. Like a mackerel, sardine or snoek. Other vis aren't oily enough.
  7. But they are offered at a lower price than their competition. Hence, they are value for money.
  8. Because if it's good, at a cheap price, that means it's value for money. IE: The item's quality exceeds the general level of quality of other items at that price. Hence, it is a complimentary statement. Value for money can be justified at any price. It's not a degrading connotation at all, your opinion on the term is incorrect. (EDIT: This means that it doesn't mean what you think it means) (EDIT EDIT: People need to clarify what is being said when the person they're querying is allocating incorrect definitions to standard sayings)
  9. You clearly haven't seen the last few iterations of each respective brand's products. Both Silverback and Titan have a range of excellent bikes, fit for purpose and pretty up to date. OP: Titan are a great option. They represent significant value in certain areas, compared to others in the space. This value does not come at the expense of performance and / or quality.
  10. yeah, 32mm would have been nice for the Flow. They already have a 35mm internal in the guise of the Baron.
  11. They're cheap and work bloody well. Better than most even at 1/4 the price. Sandpaper. Done.
  12. ???????????????? Thermo and I were chatting about it yesterday, it's definitely an option. Even if it's just the lite.
  13. Nope. Strava only allows you to get points for speed / distance, not HR. So you're limited to 100 points per exercise when tracked via Strava.
  14. Correct, they don't recognise workouts that don't originate from a garmin device. It sucks, that's for sure, but that's the ecosystem they're building for themselves. Garmin & Apple, those are the 2 big partnerships.
  15. I'll address those concerns tomorrow, when I'm not a bottle of red down after a fantastic day. ???? I agree with both of you btw.
  16. Ah, yes - the lombards XCO climb is definitely a good technical climb. Thanks for hte reminder. Lower Canaries used to be awesome!
