  1. So @Jewbacca tell us about the GNARRRRRR
  2. LOL, I got caught in that on my way back from a meeting in Paarden Eiland. Was clear in S Subs, as I was going down the M5 towards Koeberg Interchange I started seeing the lightning... Was in the thick of it on the way home...
  3. Use AXA, too, for peace of mind. But the doc you're looking for is the International Travel Letter, https://www.discovery.co.za/medical-aid/travelling-internationally
  4. Decat = better airflow = more air into cylinder = more bang = more powa. Def needs a tune to extract max benefit.
  5. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Jeez, dude is butthurt. @MMyou may receive slightly lower levels of trolling if you dropped the sanctimony.
  6. Looks good indeed. If it works out I could join you from Muzzies.
  7. Bahahahaha! That's funny, Patches. Yeah, if I would if I had endless cash. But when all I need from the mak stable is their cordless router (no other kind apart from Ryobi or Bosch Green available at the moment) and I can get a circular saw, multitool, jigsaw, random orbital, a 2.5Ah & 4Ah battery, 2 chargers and a sabre saw for less than ZAR 7,500.... I'm going Einhell. Especially when it's being backed by BPM Toolcraft, one of our best local distros here in CT. Ja, All Mak would be nice, but unnecessary. If a tool messes up, I take it back. And I can replace every tool 2 to 3 times before I get to the cost of the equivalent Makitas.
  8. So. Picking up this big beauty tomorrow, after it came to light that the XR I'd been building needed a new motor. It got swiped from my mates place together with his XR and mbx50... It's not anything at all related to turning 40 next week....
  9. So. I'm selling some goodies, all in excellent nick. Basically getting rid of my powered tools to replace with battery operated so I'm not reliant on Eishkom. Stuff I have that needs to go Metabo kgs216m sliding compound mitre saw - R 3,000 Makita 5903R 235mm circular w/ 4 just-sharpened blades and brand new brushes (installed this past weekend) - R 3,000 Bosch pks55 circular - R 1,000 Startel Pro 1900w plunge router w/ guide R 1,500 Dremel 3000 w/ router attachment and Tork Craft spares kit in Dremel toolbox - R 1,250 Elu electrical planer from the 80s (still in perfect order and w spare blades) - R 750 HMT (Huster Machine Tool company) belt driven table saw with cast iron worksurface and router under-mount (had the startel router in place) - R 12,000 Triton Mk3 workcentre - R 2,500 I also have a biscuit boy, details on that to follow once I've given it a once-over and checked it all out. All offers entertained, but don't take the piss. 😆 Slide into my DMs
  10. Tagliatelle for me, if I have a choice. More sauceticles for them to hold on to.
  11. Personal opinion. Merc Strat team is historically unchallenged and has their best case scenario a borne out by superior machinery. Had bred an aura of superiority Ito "we can't be wrong cos..." and their adaptability is poor due to atrophy. They had the fastest car so any strategy was a good one. Ferrari is Italian. Italian strategy is always better because it's Italian. Even peak Italians like Rossi can't tell Italian teams how to go faster, because the boss is always the boss and the rider just delivers pizza under 20 minutes otherwise he pays for it. Red Bull have been top, bottom, sideways and interspatial over the same period. The Jack Russel when it comes in and all the other dogs are just staring at the snake slithering up to the kid. The F1 version of PARKOUR!! if you will. Raggedy. Gutsy. Always willing to have a punt if there's a 69.420% chance of working out. Or not. Who cares. They shoot for the moon when the likes of Toto and DoorMattia are staring at their well tailored team principalities, The Secreting their way to success.
  12. If you like spaghetti, get the 32 stepcast and make a lekker aglio e olio. It should cook up just al dente and hold its form about as well. The Reba has aglio for breakfast. And will carry on trucking while the stepson gets punished yet again.
  13. Ja... Tomfeckery of the highest order. Yuki is blunt. To his detriment sometimes, but he is still a decent racer. McD's stuffed their strategy. End of. Like Ferrari, they seem to thrive on alternate strategies but never know how to take advantage of changing circumstances. They're flat-footed sanctimonious know-it-alls that can only lose because someone else is cheating, even when their first placed driver is making all his results on his own despite their multiple failings. No wonder Horner comes across so cynically. He's had Toto barking for Kansas for the last 10 years.
  14. Yeah.... And Lew Lew with his little frothy again... As soon as it's Hamfistilton it's okay to be emotional in the heat of the moment, and you don't *really* mean what you say. Unless you're not Hamfistilton, in which case it's what you really think... And the Lew Lew cheerleaders with their Hamfisted attempts at justifying a lack of strategic planning abilities.... Sjoe. Yes, I'm back. Back again. Mayhem's back, tell a friend.
  15. Yeah. Can't keep them away from their favourite doof doof.
  16. And if you haven't cleaned your seals recently, you need to give them a vis or two. Like a mackerel, sardine or snoek. Other vis aren't oily enough.
  17. Just take a pic of it and keep it on your phone.
  18. There's your answer
  19. But they are offered at a lower price than their competition. Hence, they are value for money.
  20. Because if it's good, at a cheap price, that means it's value for money. IE: The item's quality exceeds the general level of quality of other items at that price. Hence, it is a complimentary statement. Value for money can be justified at any price. It's not a degrading connotation at all, your opinion on the term is incorrect. (EDIT: This means that it doesn't mean what you think it means) (EDIT EDIT: People need to clarify what is being said when the person they're querying is allocating incorrect definitions to standard sayings)
  21. You clearly haven't seen the last few iterations of each respective brand's products. Both Silverback and Titan have a range of excellent bikes, fit for purpose and pretty up to date. OP: Titan are a great option. They represent significant value in certain areas, compared to others in the space. This value does not come at the expense of performance and / or quality.
  22. yeah, 32mm would have been nice for the Flow. They already have a 35mm internal in the guise of the Baron.
  23. Good luck getting that to fit securely in a bottle cage...
