  1. Better start drinking your Milo.... you have along way to go, still.
  2. Don't forget South. Handmade here in SA, with excellent backup. To be fair, I don't think any of those options you've already shared are bad.
  3. No, def not daily. But temperature, humidity, hydration, etc. All other things that affect how much we weigh
  4. Confession time. I fell off the wagon. Work stress, unwanted side effects of head-meds (resulting in me going off them over a course of 2 months) and other things I can't go into, resulted in me going from 93 earlier this year to a current 99.8. I've been hovering around the 99-101kg mark for the last couple months, and my weight has not been on my priority list AT ALL. That's changed, as of last week. A new position at a different practice, potential of far more opportunities within the new practice, and an overall better sense of wellbeing has led me to the point of being able to focus on my weight, again. My exercise has been non-existent, apart from helping people move house, and spending time hiking and riding with my lightie. I have a lot of work to do these next 2 months if I am to get back to where I was, 4 months ago.
  5. They're all over the place, man. Not confined to one area at all
  6. I presume you've watched Mindhunters? Similar thing, but strictly based on real life events.
  7. I love Mooncake. Chickadiboo! Honestly, this is one of my favourite animated series. Now I want my COOKIE!
  8. OOOOOOOH!!!! And yeah, lol. I think he was bitching and moaning more about the fact that he felt obligated to do a video while he was supposed to be having a break.
  9. Yeah, the 4GB extra VRam is a handy thing, though I'm not sure it translates into real world performance benefits when it comes up against AMD's "infinity cache" and other technological advancements. I'll wait for Tech Jesus to do his productivity benchmarks and deep dive before making that call.... He's also an MTBer, so he can stay. Also, the 6900 has a boost clock of 500MHz higher!!! That's HUGE. Oh. 3090 is the new 2080Ti. It's their top end enthusiast card. The people claiming it's a Titan are misinformed, and sadly that's been highlighted in the tech review space, too. "Titan Class Performance" is just marketing speak. It's not a Titan. It's still a GeForce card. It still runs GeForce drivers.
  10. ja, look. The 1080ti is still a beast of a card, and I'll never be buying the 6800 / 6900 / 3080 level cards. It's just far too much for my modest needs. No rigorous encoding, rendering, streaming or anything. I just wanna have a decent system for another few years.
  11. AMD coming out with some Grade A ass-whoopin. Intel struggling to get over the 14nm restrictions, and thinking that because they're intel, they'll always be better. NVidia fanboys struggling to see that the 3090 isn't a Titan, and it's USD500 more than the equivalent AMD card. Honestly, for the end user it's a bloody carnival. Any way you look, you're gonna get good stuff. It's just that it's not as cut and dried as it used to be. And Team BlueGreen fanboois can't handle that. The Team Red Fanboois know that all too well, and there's nothing sweeter than an underdog trollfight, to some people. Having said that, I've always been an AMD fan. Heck, I suffered loooads for it when I built my system (FX8320 & HD7970 3GB) which was slow compared to intelvidia of the same time, but I just couldn't spend my cash on the big bluegreen. It felt wrong, after all their corporate shenanigans. Plus, the name AMD just appeals to my childhood Micromachines obsession. Damn, I wish those were still a thing....
  12. bahahahahaha Team Blue Green is getting their behinds whipped. Team Red finally has their day in the sun, again. Fanboys on both sides not prepared to acknowledge the facts. Intel, up until now, has been THE choice for gaming. As had NVidia. Now, not so much. I cannot wait to upgrade.
  13. Well, you have your answer. Rental agent that is happy to be a managing agent, too. Luckily there are tonnes of those around. Remax / Pam / Rawsons etc. Find a branch / agent / admin person who ticks your boxes. It's not just the agent you have to get a feel for, as the tenants will mostly be dealing with the admin assistants once the contracts etc are signed, and agents DGAF about post-sale management.
  14. Ciuple questions, first Do you want to manage the property yourself? Do you want to vet the applicants? Do you want to have to deal with bad payments etc? If yes to all, then do it all yourself. If yes to all but q2, let them do it. If no to 2 or all, let a proper rental agent handle the property as the management agent. IMO. I think the average take is 10% of rental, but IMO that's peanuts for the work that they do in terms of vetting applicants, getting the leases in place and acting as a buffer for you, so you don't have to deal with the tenants yourself. From a renter's perspective, it's pretty much the same thing at the end of the day, but dealing with an agent makes things a lot simpler at times, and a bit more difficult in others. Either way, it needs to suit YOU. Some people are on it when it comes to rentals, and can manage it themselves without a hassle. If you've got a day job, and don't have time to manage it and find tenants etc, then go with an agent that will manage it for you. If you have a day job and can manage it yourself, but don't want to go through the hassle of finding a tenant, then your option sounds more or less okay. BUT. One months' rent equates to about 8.3% of the monthly rent, which, if they're not managing the property, seems quite excessive to me.
  15. ooooooooooooh..... STEAK. Those look like bloody good t-bones!
  16. before, early this year or something. I'm not sure. Look, even with shipping at a high price, it still works out at a damn steal. I
  17. I've recently bought from AliExpress. A pack of 10 sets for like 250. Sintered. They work really well and even if they don't last as long as OEM ones, they are half the price for 10 as opposed to 1.
  18. He was on form! Old Kimi, showing what he can do. I really wish he had a good car beneath him. His wheel to wheel racing craft, and respect for other drivers was something to behold. Can you imagine him taking it to Hamilton?
  19. I like to judge a clothing brand's quality by their basic tees. Mr Price. They feel lekker soft, but the weave is incredibly poor and stretches after one wash. PnP. Same. Makro. Strangely, their supplier seems to get a good level of quality and their tees last quite well, incredibly well for the price. WW. Simply unbeatable, in the sub-R150 per tee range. I can wear one of their tees for far longer, and it stays true to form. Pep, Ackermans, Checkers: Don't even try. I now only buy tees from WW or more "quality" providers. Their Trenery & Country Road stuff, while expensive, is orders of magnitude better than alternatives at the same price point.
  20. Mine were NFS, NFS2 & Underground. Getting the viper around the desert track (Willow Springs?) and the desert road track was the challenge
  21. I have bad news for you. The entire retail clothing industry is like that.
  22. It's wonderful. My favourite trail in CT, you can really bomb it down there. Couple places where you need to keep your wits about you, like keep momentum up when you really really wanna slow down, but it's an amaaaaaazing bit of singletrack that should be on everyone's bucket list. You NEED to let go of the brakes. Going up it is a challenge and a half. Lovely technical climb.
