  1. In the initial press releases they said they wanted to build the Alpine brand, given that it's sorta been a small-scale sports car brand that not a lot of people know about.
  2. 1 - yes, the door can be inside the opening instead of outside it, it's just a matter of positioning the brackets correctly and having the right size door. 2: Very nice brackets, but I think they're a bit pricy. EDIT: Links up above have better options, prolly. https://www.aliexpress.com/i/32787804749.html
  3. Dude. Sounds right up my alley, that type of hunt.
  4. You're going to have to import the Aggressor DD, in 2.3 AND 2.5WT versions. Been through this a few times, and that's always been the answer.
  5. I loved it. Star studded, yet not suffering as a result (which is often the case)
  6. He's a successful businessman in his own right, and probably has a share incentive scheme over and above or in lieu of his salary. He also has existing investments in place so it may have been a switch, not a purchase with brand new money.
  7. The title didn't give it away? ????
  8. It's been his SOP for a long time already. Russian gangsters, essentially
  9. Oh,but he does. Just that he doesn't have his dad owning the team. He has the backing of a large Mexican consortium, so he's still bringing capital. Plus, I think his ambitions are beyond HAAS etc.
  10. Yeah, foolproof for a corner / nook shelf. That 2 sides bracing is what you need. For a normal shelf, this is what I do https://youtu.be/wki3wMAbtLg
  11. Run by the guy who does wheels 24 and already has an editorial position under the 24 umbrella. Lance has been a contributor there for far longer than here.
  12. @patch This is how I'd do it. Simple, easy, no fuss. Because it's in a corner you can get away with this as it'll be braced on 2 sides, so no need for dowels or anything fancy. And this way, you get your solid wood look with no breaks in the grain. Just stop 10mm short of the end of the slabs, and you're good.
  13. Goodness, yes. I remember that! I got into that mailing list in around 2010 or so. Left in around 2015.
  14. Lance is a member here, but most of his stuff is motoring journalism through Wheels 24 etc. Makes sense that if N24 are expanding their offering, they include it under his editing purview. He's already part of their editorial team. He's done a few articles for BH, too.
  15. I'd buy the Mercer to match my Mercer (of my dreams)
