  1. Agree with you, but with 3 or 4 HC mountain finishes, climbers like AC , Andy and maybe Froome will ride 8 minutes or more into Wiggins. They have done it before.
  2. He was riding for Polka Dot.. Actually he was wearing it. Did you see yellow pacing the guys attacking him. C'mon? I think he just secured the jersey .
  3. Couldn't agree more. Pinot and van Garderen have bright futures.
  4. So AC doped and the Schleck sisters matched him riding clean! Always looked strange to me
  5. Worst Tour in years. Wiggins gonna win without attacking once. Evans not strong enough to attack. Going over Col d Aubisque today with Cavendish in main group. Ridiculos!
  6. Nobody works for free. That's called wellfare. If you don't want to pay , learn to do it yourself and stop whining about R20
  7. Google bike of the year
  8. Impey rides for Green Edge!!
  9. I've done 3 Epics on 26" FS. I changed to 29'HT 6 months ago. It's a Scott Scale RC29. An awesome bike and I really like it. I just did the Cape Outback on the 29er. As I have a cronic problem with lower back pain , I don't do Epic anymore. For me , the HT was too hard on the rough stuff. Nothing to do with wheel size, but when you get older(I am 45), I think FS is better in a multi day event.
  10. There were 2 guys on 29ers in VB. Billy Stelling and Andreas Studer. Andreas stayed there till the end. 2H 52min. Hats off!!

    Argus crashes

I agreeI also rode VB and saw the crash right in front of me. Leave bunch sprinting to experienced sprinters.Their were a lot of people in that bunch without basic bunch riding skills.Smaller bunches will be safer
  12. Done 3 . This is super advice. Also, don't go hard at the start
  13. I think he means faster. " Harder" could attract a lot of potential clients
  14. 2 Guys in VB on 29ers. One finished in 2.52 , the other one a minute or so later
  15. Nationalisation will leave you too hungry to ride your bike! Go ride in Zim and find out for yourself
  16. Me neither
  17. You seem to have a lot of "inside" info, from Merxk to Froome. Wow!
  18. They will fall over their feet to sign him. The best grand tour rider of his time.
  19. XTR
  20. Christiaan Kriek won his first race in USA a week ago. One of the rules was called "invisible wall". If you cross the white line, you are disqualified and stops racing. Should work here. The marshall should ride up and tell the rider crossing the line to fall back and go home.
  21. Done it last year. Not difficult and definitely one of the best races around
  22. The Epic is expensive, but you get a lot for your money. Just look at the medical fasility. 2 Orthopaedic surgeons available for 8 days, a fully equipped lab, nurses ,doctors, and other medical staff. Quads on the route. Those 2 heli's don't run on water. All the other logistics like water, food, campsite, bikewash and not to mention all the areas for relaxing afterwards. I've done 3 ( 2 from Knysna and 1 around CT). I must admit the old format was better, but I also think it cost more. Just my opinion
