  1. If Metrorail allow cyclists to jump on the train to avoid this section of road, at no charge of course, do you think it would help? Of course recreational cyclists might not go for this but daily commuters may be more keen. Would have to time your commute with the trains though.
  2. +1 This is how I buy everything. Makes sense to get an extra month's interest on the cash amount. Every rand helps
  3. Thanks! Is there a digital copy?

    Inov-8

Long story short: I went to physio, biokineticists and had orthotics made, nothing fixed my problems. Bought a pair of Inov-8 F-Lite 195s and all that changed. I love them! My running has never been more enjoyable. Got my girlfriend to buy a pair and she feels the same way. Bought a pair of Inov-8 TrailRoc 245's on Sunday. I've only tried them once. The extra padding is strange to me after the 195's but they are extremely comfortable and still promote a fore/mid-foot strike. I believe they will help me on the longer runs and jumping down steep mountain trails. But be sure to take it slow. It took me a good 6 months to stretch my calves and achilles. Your feet will also need to get use to feeling the ground.
  5. Now the drugs don't work They just make you worse http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bR8XH3R95xE&noredirect=1
  6. Waleed probably had some of his taxi drivers hanging around
  7. I meant no offence. My brain merely made the connection. "leave him alone" and "leave Britney alone" are somewhat similar. If I could delete Chris Crocker from my mind, I would. Although a Lance Armstrong version would be funny
  8. Reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc
  9. I know it shouldn't be this way if it is offered but I never fill in website forms because I don't expect it to work or to get a response. Maybe try twitter @Cycle_Factory or PM them on this forum.
  10. Quick question. The stretch of lower jeep track from Cecilia car park to top of Southern Cross Drive, is that fair game? I mostly want to use it for commuting purposes and I've noticed a few riders coming out of the car park.
  11. Got my AL129 last Friday. Took it straight to the Baviaans for a week. Loving it! Just my 2 cents.
  12. Also Crown Cycles and Olympic Cycles in Lansdowne Road as well as The Epic Bike Shop in Plumstead.
  13. Momsen announced this bike today here. Although the full specs don't seem to be available yet, what do you think?

  15. I also enjoyed Boyes. Will be missed, I probably won't be thinking this as I cycle past on the day though
  16. Even better, 26 front and 29 back. Then you have comfort on a cheaper HT frame but still have the sharp turning in front
  17. Got prices for these bikes?
  18. If you can hold out, and care about the marketing buzz ,the 2013 models are starting to come into the stores. But what this does mean is that you should try haggle for a discount on any 2012 model bike.
  19. Any pricing and specs yet?
  20. That means they are sourcing stock. Chat to the customer support people, there should be a live chat link. They will tell you what is going on. I had to get a refund on an item that they were struggling to find stock of.
  21. Thanks for the advice. I've never considered this before. Glad your son is ok.
  22. Those trail builders are dedicated
  23. Gizmodo is having a Q&A with a "professional" bike thief. Lets see how this goes: http://gizmodo.com/5922324/weve-got-a-bike-thief-here-to-answer-your-questions
  24. How often do the conditions allow one to use the full braking force? From my experience a skid is the most likely result. But I am riding on cheap tyres and probably doing it wrong. Maybe ABS should a feature
  25. I am also keen. As long as the surf isn't good Maybe set a time and place and people can join each Sunday, when they are available. I'm very much a beginner though.
