  1. always said Gauteng weather is weird. Winter should be cold and wet. Summer should be warm and sunny. Obviaaaas.
  2. There is a gravel road that runs above the tar road. If you cross the tar road at the bottom at Disa River road go right for a bit and then up Blue valley avenue till you hit Bay road. Take a left in Bay road. Bay road becomes gravel and spits you out right near the circle at the top of the neck Sorry not sure how to insert a map here Found my Strava link for that ride https://www.strava.com/activities/3852155345
  3. asking for a friend. No really. What are the best (not necessarily top-end) e-mtb to look at when buying. Talking quality, battery life, ride comfort, etc.
  4. Yes Hidalgo, I've seen that. Very good.
  5. Thanks for the detailed response.
  6. watched that a while back. Really enjoyed it as well. Vigo Mort....whatever is always good. Another one from him that is good is A History of Violence
  7. John Malkovich irritates me. Seems to over act his roles. Takes himself too seriously I think. But ja Megan Fox is eye candy not an actor
  8. Why? I watched it last night and thought it was pretty good. Badly directed? The last of the manor character Mrs Pretty was a bit irritating though.
  9. Not sure what you mean. Home brew is rubbish? I have a mate who brews and his stuff is better than SAB (not difficult) and as good as the craft brewery stuff available in the shop.
  10. I'd say someone who can do them all petty competently is a real mtber.
  11. Not really into westerns but this was very good.
  12. I thought this was excellent
  13. Agreed
  14. I switched from a Giant Trance to a 2019 Stumpy ST. I am now quicker on the technical downhill stuff as well as climbs and long gravel roads. In my opinion there is nothing in Cape Town besides the obvious full on double black diamond downhill lines that requires anything with more travel than the Stumpy has. It's a great all rounder.
  15. Rooikrans makes just fine coals for a normal braai. Sure there might be better options but are they as readily available and at the same price?
  16. Yup running was the one think the doc told me to forget about.
  17. Thanks for the good wishes okes.
  18. Dankie Fanie
  19. Thanks D
  20. Chow a banana or two and some biltong or nuts. Supplements are just going to pump your body full of rubbish.
  21. My bike will be taking me nowhere for a while. Recovering from knee replacement surgery.
  22. qAgreed. Would also like to see a map of sorts showing route. I dont know the area well so get a bit lost with the place names.
  23. Love your work
  24. The Cheese Grater aka MOAB. One of those sections of trail you DON'T want to fall.
