  10. fair enough if you have the time to do a lot of riding, so you can mess around with different stuff. I get to ride once maybe twice a week so I'll stick to what I know. It gives me enough pleasure just being out there.

  12. would be refreshing if one of these cheats admits guilt straight away when caught.
  13. mal bike dude. Yes you can ride pretty much any trail (proper downhill excluded) on pretty much any bike. The question is "why would you want to?" I watch some of the guys coming down the jeep track from the blockhouse on their gravel bikes (before they graded it and turned it into a highway), and I just wonder why would you put yourself through that punishment? If they had any fillings they must have all fallen out by the time they get to the bottom.
  14. Thats brilliant. Saw those dotted around Auckland when I was there a few years ago. Not sure how long they will last in SA though.....
  15. I wont even ride a hardtail on the road, so yes a full sus is the way to go.

  18. if it's this blue container then I'm impressed
  19. I guess if you're riding road it's not too difficult to take off and wipe. Can't really do it when trail riding.
  20. what do you guys do to solve the sweat in eyes issue - if it is an issue. I never ride with glasses because I sweat too much and it runs into my eyes. Then you have to take the glasses off to wipe - it's a pain in the ass.

  22. option e. ride your bike without a timing / heart-rate device and just enjoy the ride. saves you 4k and is better for the soul.

  24. Tygeberg - R950 annually. Up from last year but new trails added all the time. I think there is around 140km of trails now, with high percentage single track. I'm happy to pay 950 ronts to ride there
